I love smoothies but my old blender was clumsy and awkward to clean so I rarely used it. This is just the opposite and I use it nearly every day. Not having to pour your smoothie out of the blender into a separate container is a real time and washing up saver.You just twist the blade section off and rinse after each use and that's it. It's really so simple. I love how you don't have to reach down a narrow jug to try to get food off the blades or clean around the blades where you can't really reach.The machine has no controls as such – you just press and twist to start or stop it. Ten to fifteen seconds is all you need to blend pretty much anything into a smooth consistency. It's tough enough to deal with ice or even vegetables like carrot if you cut them into smaller chunks. I often use nuts to add a bit of extra protein and it deals well with those. It's not designed for dry food.It's perfect for making salad dressings and desserts as well as smoothies. The internet is full of recipe ideas.Only downside I've found is that if you put slightly too much into the cup, the motor can struggle for a couple of seconds and you get the smell of hot motor briefly.The 'max' fill level mark printed on the cups is very small and hard to see when full of food – it would be better if there was a bold line printed or moulded right around the cups.I wish it came with two lids since there are two cups. You only get one.But overall I am extremely happy with this purchase.

So handy kids love it, so easy to use and clean

I'm really pleased with this item and everything it comes with. It's decently sixed and can fit in my cupboard. I make my protein shakes in the small container and it always comes out smooth and silky. It's able to blend frozen fruits into there really well. As someone with a cursed hand it's easy to make this work without breaking just use average strength when twisting into the slot and press. I always use the blend function for 30 seconds or less to avoid burning out the motors. Also don't blend spices like cardamom in here since the oils and shells scratch the surface of the cups and leave a lingering smell. If you did blend spices, I blended rice or sugar or lemon zest ect, a couple of times and it should go away. This nutribullet is good value for money, good design and functions really well on a day to day basis.

This is amazing , no longer do I waste fruit n veg that I may have before thrown away. I now use them to make delicious smoothies as starters or desserts.
