The Brod & Taylor bread peel has become one of my favorite baking tools because it makes transferring shaped dough so much smoother and less stressful. The surface is lightweight but sturdy, and it slides easily under loaves without sticking or deflating them. The handle feels solid and gives good control when moving dough onto a stone or into a Dutch oven. Cleanup is simple with just a quick wipe down. It is a bit larger than I expected, so storage takes some planning, but the quality and ease of use make it well worth it if you bake bread regularly.

This is nicer than I expected. It has good weight - maneuverable but still sturdily made. The flat part of the peel is nice and thin. I chose this one because the handle length was shorter than some others. The hole in the handle base makes it easy to hang and store.
