GREAT Hatch New Mexico red chile powder -- it's nice to have this on hand to spice up many dishes; plus, it makes amazing, authentic red chile sauce for enchiladas & other Mexican dishes.

I have always sought out the New Mexican Red Chile from Dixon, which had previously always been available here on Amazon. This time, I couldn't find the Dixon Chile here, so I took the plunge, and bought this product. I'm glad I did. It's fresh, bright, and fruity, with the pleasant kick I've come to expect from the mild variety. It worked perfectly in my signature dry rub, and I can't wait to use it this autumn Lois Ellen Frank's recipe for Pueblo Red Chile Stew. Good stuff. You won't be disappointed.
