in-Channel Window Visors Rain Guards for 1991-2001 Ford Explorer

I bought these because all of the other rain guards that I saw that were not OEM were not as great looking as I wanted. I looked at maybe 6-7 different models for my rain guards and did one was the one that I liked the most. I wanted something that was aesthetically pleasing but also had great function. These don't stick out as much as I want them to but compared to the others options available these seem to hold up just as well as the competition. As far as the look goes this is one of the better looking ones that I saw, the installation was fairly simple and it does come with some adhesive support to strengthen the bond. I skipped using that step because I didnt want to risk running some off that stuff on my paint or trim and just installed the product carefully. It has been installed for 2 days now and I did drive my car a fair bit and no issues observed so far. My car as been out in the heat and so far I see no signs of them wearing out from the sun. As far as fitment and obstructions, I noticed none. They fit perfect, you just have to make sure you measure it correctly and want to get it the first time. I removed just a bit of the plastic on the adhesive and as I was holding it in place peel off the plastic trim on the adhesive while the rain guard was on the trim piece by the window. Installation was very easy and I did the entire car taking my time in about 5 minutes. There was no obstruction opening and closing the windows. I tested every single window and made sure it was able to close and open. I'm able to open the window maybe 10% of the way before they are no longer covered by the rain guards. Which is perfect because I just need to crack the window slightly when its raining and these will do a good job preventing rain from getting in. As far as the adhesive, after driving for maybe 30 miles they seem to still be holding strong. I have no concern that these will fall off and if they last me a good year or 2 they will be worth the money. I have bought OEM before on my other car which was 8 years ago and those still look brand new and look amazing. OEM was around $150 i believe and that car is a Subaru WRX. at the price of $35 these are not as good as my OEM guards but I am happy with these at a significant lower price.

I loved these rain guards. They look great and give a nice, elegant touch to the vehicle. The fit was perfect and the installation was quite easy. In addition, they are super practical to be able to leave the windows a little open when it rains without water coming in. Excellent product, I definitely recommend them. Very happy with the purchase!

Overall a decent buy. Pros: they are fairly robust parts and the adhesive is good (I hope they stay put too). It comes with prep pads for the adhesive prep. They work but are quite a strong chemical. No biggie - just know that going into it. The rear ones are near perfectly formed to cover where you’d expect, and installed easy. They hold pretty well from too, what I can tell. Cons: Not much - esp considering the price - BUT!!! The front ones are not formed to “wrap” the front vertical parts. I ended up placing the very front of it, just behind that vertical. It works ok, but not as it probably should be done. Still, I’d recommend them with the consideration of positioning in mind, and price being what it is.

Out-channel window visors, perfect fit for my 2025 Honda Accord. Allows me to crack the window when it rains without getting wet inside. Reduces wind noise and looks sporty. Easy install and great quality.

Window shields and rain deflectors. Perfect fit and a good kit. Easy to install good thickness and should last a good long time.

One already came off..the tape isnt strong enough and they aren't molded right so the shades dont lay flat. Disappointing. Don't have time to return them. I will just toss them..Update!! I replaced the tape with 3m tape and they stick on fine. They are really nice when they stick of course

2009 CRV. Overall, the quality is excellent. Good plastic, really good adhesive. My problem with them is that they don't actually match the contour of the door frame where they mount. I had to slightly bend the front guards to actually match the angle in the frame. Add to that, the flanges are too wide. When you mount them where they actually fit, I had to trim the guards between 1/4" and 3/8" where the front and back doors meet. The guards overlapped in the middle and I had to trim all 4 to make them work without catching each other when opening/closing the doors. That was a PITA because the plastic is actually good plastic. I've had them on for a little over 2 weeks and it rained at least 9 out of 14 days. They held up well...they really did.

Fitment is the only thing I will comment on at this time as I just installed them a bit ago. On the front windows, the front of the guards have a small tab that didnt really fit anywhere. One gap i thought it could go into would have twisted the guard and, I believe, would have cause the double sided tape to pull away eventually. So this kinda forced me to have to leave a small gap you can see towards the front. On the back windows I was kinda forced to place the guard all the way towards the front. The double sided tape was already placed on the guardS and they were not placed close enough to the edge of the guards. If the tape was placed all the way on the front and back edge, I could've caught the correct trim piece on the back side. Maybe in the future if these ever start to pull off I'll redo it with my own butyl tape. All other materials seem to be made of good, expected quality. Time will tell.

Fairly easy to install, had to loosen the mirrors to be able to the visors properly. Only time will tell if they will last this winter
