Thermoflask Bottle with Chug and Straw Lid, 40oz, Capri

I've purchased a few of these. They're fantastic. If I fill it with half ice and half water it's still cold 24 hours later. I've even had it out in full sun all day and it's still cold at the end of the day. I really like the pivoting drinking mechanism too. And when you move the mechanism to the closed position, it doesn't leak one drop of water no matter what position the bottle is in. Great carrying handle.

Great product which I initially was not happy with because I thought they failed to ship the 'spout' or 'chug' top which is the only one I use. Thermoflask customer support was great and they informed me that it's often hidden in a little cardboard barrier compartment at the bottom of the box which was true. I didn't notice because the box was so light and it looked like the bottom of the box.

Holds well over time, I have it for a year or so, and it never leaked, fell many times, and still works.

Its a solid water bottle that keeps my water nice and cold. I am not a fan and don't use the lid with a straw. Not a fan of straws. The other lid makes the overall circumference of the bottle larger, and the bottle no longer fits in the sleeve I use to hang it off my panniers. I ended up buying another lid, and it works fine. Just not a fan of the form of the lid which is rigid.

straw works super well (surprised). At first the straw may drop when opening the bottle til you get used to how to do it so it won't (can't explain it other than.. its' like a finger drops to hold the straw in place slightly at first, then it's okay).Thermal and capacity is great. Cleaning can be difficult and hard so I recommend you stick to just water in this so you aren't dealing with sticky liquids or other things like that with this bottle. I use it as my at-work bottle which is a bit of a commute from my place so I don't bring it home with me. (fly to work.. hassle to carry it with the security and check-ins)Does not fit a standard cup holder in a car. fyi.

I really wish that it was dishwasher safe like most of the competitor brands are, but it says hand wash all the parts only. Apart from that, it does a great job at keeping the water chilled in high temperatures outside. I had it in my car for a full day of running errands in the 95° weather, and after six or seven hours, the ice had melted inside, but the water was still very cold. Definitely worth the purchase.

I bought a 40 oz flask to increase my water consumption during the day without having to refill smaller containers as often. The quality and finish on this flask is excellent. It has no problem keeping my water cold even though I don't put as much ice in it because I want a higher water content. My only concern is that it seems like it could dent easily, but that seems to be a problem across all of the double wall stainless flasks. I purchased a bottle handle/bumper separately and will put it on the flask once it arrives. All in all, I am very glad I purchased this flask and would not hesitate to buy another or to recommend it.
