Can’t go wrong with Sylvania!
LED bulbs were installed in the tag lights on my 2019 Tundra. They fit perfectly in the shallow housings and give off just the right amount of light to really light up my tag. Looks more modern now. The thing I like most about them is that they aren’t too bright like some on the market that interfere with the backup camera by being too bright. Perfect for my application!

SOLID
I bought these for the interior cockpit lights in my Toyota. The others I installed in the passenger and cargo area are super bright. These are perfect for my purposes, distinguished but not overwhelming.

Bright , straight forward
Old ones I had went bad from a different company so I bought these cuz it's a known brand. At least no issues. Color is pretty accurate to be 5000k or so. Not blue. Just nice pure white

High quality bulbs and only 0.7W power
These bulbs are excellent, because…1. Much brighter than incandescent2. Excellent uniform beam output3. Good quality light (high CRI)4. Low power consumption - only 0.7W @ 14VBrightness: It is much brighter than an incandescent bulb, but it’s not a crazy bright LED that is blinding. Despite popular belief, it is not good to get a high power LED that blinds people - it can actually be dangerous. This bulb is not too bright. I would estimate 70-80 lumens based on typical lumen per watt ratios of 100 to 115 lumens per watt. It could be higher. If you want an LED that blinds people, this is not for you. If you want responsibly higher light output than incandescent with all he benefits of a quality LED, then this is a great choice.Beam Pattern: the light output is very uniform and evenly dispersed with a full 180 degrees (360 degrees around). No bright hotspots.Good quality light color with high CRI. I didn’t measure the CRI, but I have compared enough LED bulbs to know the difference of a high CRI rating. It makes nice light.Power Consumption: I confirmed it draws 0.050A (49.6 mA) with an amperage meter. This means it consumes 0.7W @ 14V (typical running voltage), even though the package says “0.5W”. The electrical current draw (0.05A) is constant, and the power consumption (Watts) will vary with changes in voltage. Oddly, the package also says 12.8V, which doesn’t make sense. A healthy car or motorcycle battery is 12.6V with the engine off. During normal operation with the engine running, the vehicle’s electrical system voltage is typically around 13.5 ~ 14.5V. Published Watt and lumen figures are typically at 13.5V or 14V.I used this to replace a W5W incandescent bulb. I measured its amperage to be 360mA, which aligns with the incandescent bulb spec of 5W @ 13.5V. The LED only uses 14% of the power. It doesn’t get hot light the incandescent and makes many more lumens.Like many of the common automotive wedge LED bulbs, this is advertised to replace multiple incandescent bulbs. This bulb, and all the bulbs it replaces, have a W2.1x9.5d base type. “W” = wedge, 2.1 = base thickness in mm, and 9.5d is the length of the contact surfaces in mm.• W3W, W5W, 194, 168, 2821, 2825 all use same wedge base, W2.1x9.5d.• 2821 ≈ W3W ≈ 194. They all use about 3W and all output about 20-25 lumens.• 2825 ≈ W5W ≈ 168. They all use about 5W and output around 40-50 lumens.

Much brighter than original incandescent bulbs.
Much brighter than original incandescent bulbs. I used them for dash bulb replacements on my 64 Buick Riviera and they provide much improved instrument lighting. They are larger which could cause a problem in some applications.

Upgrade for 2022 F150
For some unknown reason ford decided to save a few cents and use halogen bulbs for the license plate lights. These were a direct fit and match the color of the rest of the LEDs on my 2022 f150 perfectly. No flicker in the reverse camera so I would say it is a win/win.
