DualSense Wireless Controller - Starlight Blue

No! Make it pink! NO! Make it Blue! PINK! BLUE! PINK! BLUE! I love dualsense controllers. I guess Sony figured out they can also improve on the controller along with the console, so for the first time since the PS3/Xbox 360 days it feels like a huge technological upgrade. I love the blue color, I got it for my girlfriend but am happy using it when my purple one is dead. I do recommend this product. A tip: If you get the dreaded stick drift, try cleaning the base of the joystick with a very lil bit of 99% isopropyl alcohol. Don't use much, but do let it get in around the ball at the base of the stick. You are welcome.

I bought this controller in 2022 and I'm writing this review 3 years later in 2025. While I don't own a PS5, I use this controller for PC. In the past, I've used DualShock 1-3, Xbox controllers, Logitech controllers, Nintendo Switch controllers, and the Steam Deck controller, but I've always preferred PlayStation controllers due to having a better fit in my hand and having a symmetrical design with the joysticks. Compared to the DualShock 4, the DualSense has both a premium feel and design. It's also larger so it fits in my hand better. I also love the new haptic capabilities in their triggers as well. On PC, many might think that these haptic triggers don't work because it's not a PlayStation, but that's not the case. Games like CoD, FF7R, and TLOUII support these and works wirelessly now, as well. Some may worry that PlayStation controllers do not connect to the PC as easily as Xbox controllers, but once again that's not the case. I find them very easy to connect and there are software like DS4Windows that can solve the issue when non-Steam games have problems detecting input. There are a couple cons about this controller however. One is that I believe that the DualSense sucks for fighting games due to a less responsive d-pad. The DS4 is a better choice in this case. Another con is that I got stick drift in a year or two, but that's also the case for other controllers that don't use hall-effect sticks. I just replaced my faulty joystick with a hall-effect one and had no problem ever since.

Feels great, there is very little dead zone for L2/R2. I feel they could have added another 2 programmable buttons. I don't like playing FPS with the original PS5 remotes. To large a dead zone. Why can't they make buttons click like a mouse button??? It is instant. I was a fan of SCUF controllers! At the time they were around this price point. I am a fan of the off set analog sticks, but I feel that XBOX didn't like Sony copy them. Something happened and Scuf cannot place off set analog sticks anymore and it was going to be 700$ by the time I was done!!! Didn't do it. I wish they had the Strike Pack for ps5!

Good but the Battery got bad really fast
