Q: My husbands measurement on his thigh is 21". that fall s into two of the size categories m and l. what should we order?

I just checked, my review is the third one down, J.D. Bag dropped. Aside from that, I purchased a size that fit and one size larger (2 each). What I do now 24/7 just to stabilize the bag is this: I wear the correct size, put the bag on so it lays on top, not in the pocket, DO NOT FORGET THE STRAPS. Then I put the size lager over all of that. The bliss to be able to walk around, to turn over in bed without the bag moving much. They are impressed when I have my catheter changed. By the way, they don't tell you to use the top strap, I think on purpose. Think about it! You walk around, bag gets heavy... Can't wait to see if this answer makes it through the censors. I really hope this helps someone.

Q: where do the straps go that is mentioned in the description?

No Straps. If it did come with straps, i must have pitched them because the sleeve stays in place by itself. There is a "pocket" in the sleeve that the leg bag slides into. They are nice and work great.

Q: How big is a large or extra large? I followed the link but I didn't size chart

The leg fit range by inches chart says the Large is: 20.9-28.8 and the Xlarge is: 26.8-38.6 inches.

Q: Is there a sloshing noise when the bag is partially filled ?

It does quiet down the sloshing sound
