Appropriate stickiness

I use this to tape down my watercolor paper when painting. It doesn’t hold as well as others I used. I’ll use this but won’t purchase again.

It is very easy to work with and left no glue on paper.

I rated this product only MODERATE on adhesion because that is how it is intended to perform. I use it to create a border around my colored pencil artwork and then, removing it when the artwork is done, it leaves a nice, clean edge boundary as intended. If you want firm adhesion you need MASKING TAPE, not DRAFTING TAPE. Drafting tape is intended to provide a light hold and then to remove easily afterwards. This product is excellent and I highly recommend it.

It’s not very sticky so it’s useful for watercoloring as a one time use peels off perfectly

I knew about this stuff from drafting class in HS, but just recently took up making drawings for home built furniture and tried to skimp using masking tape. Big mistake. This tape is perfect for adhering to my board surface, but easily releases when finished. Good stuff!

I understand that drafting tape should be low tack, but this stuff is NO tack. It does not adhere even slightly to anything, paper, film, drafting board, etc. I have tried using enough of it that I can't in good conscience return it but it is truly useless. Really miss the discontinued 3M drafting tape. This is not a substitute.
