Just what I needed
Why did you pick this product vs others?:This is perfect for me , my bike. I have a Honda shadow ACE 750 which is perfect for me , but I missed having a clock. This one had good reviews and was priced very reasonable. It has a high quality look and feel , installation was simple and styling goes well with my bike. The clock itself installs into the mounting piece with double sided tape AND a set screw so it is solid and the tape eliminates any rattle or vibration. Seems to keep time well also which afterall why buy a clock if it doesn't. I've had it about a month ,but so far so good.

Do not buy unless you just need more aggravation in your life
This is an update on my purchase. The first unit would not keep time straight out of the box. The replacement unit started losing time at the 11 month mark. Nice looking timepiece but not dependable. And other reviews confirm this. My review from 11 months ago stated…I wanted a clock to install on a motorcycle and opted for this one even though it was a bit more expensive than similar offerings. When the clock arrived I was impressed with the look and feel of the clock, and the billet aluminum holder and fasteners seemed to be of high quality. Also included were a couple of small hex wrenches used for installing the unit on the bike, a nice touch. I was very happy with everything till I noticed the clock was not keeping correct time, losing about 1 minute per day. After about a week, I called Amazon who suggested I return it. I told the rep I liked the clock and wanted it replaced, and they agreed to do that, somewhat acting like they had done me a HUGE favor. To their credit I received the replacement unit within 24 hours and returned the defective one. So far the replacement clock is keeping accurate time. The real test will be to see if it lasts 3-5 years as I think a quartz watch should

Needs a sleeve of rubber, Nice addition to E-Bike
Easy to install, however, I added a sleeve of rubber around the handlebar before I screwed the clock down. The clock just won't stay in place without that rubber sleeve. I always keep scrap rubber in my shop. Anything will work, an old inner tube, etc. If you down have rubber. You could get some plumbers nylon tape, and wind that around the handlebar about ten times, or electrical tape. I am not fond of the black background on the watch. I wish they had one with a white background, and dark hands on the clock. Its a great addition to my E-Bike, and keeps good time. Riding my E-Bike at night, it can't be seen until I go under a light.

Fits the bill
So far so good. My last bike had a clock built in, I didn't realize how important it was to me until I bought a bike without it, this seems to work fine and was easy to install.

Fair value at $17
Pros: Clock is legible, and the clock base mounts to the handlebars easily and securely.Cons: the design is for the clock itself to slip into the base and be held in place by an included piece of double-sided foam adhesive tape. However, the base is too deep and the tape cannot make contact with it.I solved this problem by getting a sticky-back pair of velcro pads, which are thicker, to use instead. This has the added advantage of easier clock removal/replacement when the battery needs changing, but now it's slightly too tall for the case, creating a small gap where water might enter. I solved this with a bit of clear silicone adhesive, and now it seems to work fine. But the velcro and silicone were $5 each, so now it's a $27 clock. Unfortunately, there are very few alternatives to this clock being offered.

It Sits on a Handlebar and tells Time
I stuck the double sided tape pad into the housing for padding, but didn’t stick the watch itself to it. The set screws on the side of the housing have held it in place just fine during these last few months of bike commuting. Also, I’ve been able to take it out to adjust for daylight savings time okay.I’ve got it on a folding bike that gets tossed into train storage and in and out of my car a whole lot. Plus the roads around here kinda suck. So it’s survived all sorts of rattling and impacts just fine. It still runs on time. It’s one of the most useful things I’ve added to my handlebar. Being able to glance down and tell the time is a great motivator to bike faster and not miss my train. The glow-in-the-dark feature doesn’t last very long, but the arms are easy enough to read that passing under a streetlight can get me a semblance of what time it is.
