tomtoc Slim Carring Case for Nintendo Switch 2, Military Grade Protection

This is exactly what I was looking for... very slim and form-fitting without adding unnecessary bulk. It fits the Switch 2 snugly and still adds a layer of protection that gives me peace of mind.If you’re looking to carry a lot of accessories, this probably isn’t the case for you. But for travel, where I care about maximizing every bit of space in my backpack, it’s ideal. Holds the essentials and nothing more, which is exactly the point for me.

With the Switch 2 already on the larger side, I wanted a slim case to use when traveling. I had a hard time finding a case that fit the bill (tried 4-5 different cases). Many have a large compartment on the top that fit joycons and cables, adding excess bulk. Some of the slimmer cases didn’t fit the Switch 2 very well and I was worried the buttons would be pressed in the case. The tomtoc case has a super hard shell so when I pack it I won’t have to worry about anything getting damaged. (As a bonus, I waited for this color to be in stock and it’s so pretty! The grey zipper, strap and silver hardware just look amazing.) Zippers are sturdy and move smoothly. The Switch 2 fits snugly in the case yet here is room around all the buttons so they won’t be damaged or pressed when inside the case. There’s a small pad that helps keep the Switch 2 in place which I thought was odd at first but think it’s to help ensure that the shoulder buttons are not going to bump or be pressed while in the case. The fabric that touches the screen has a soft velvety feel and shouldn’t scratch the screen. It’s also a bit padded for some extra protection. There’s space from 12 games which is more than enough for me when I travel. Another nice detail is that the strap is convertible. You can unhook if you prefer a wrist strap or maybe want to connect it to another bag or strap for some extra security.

I love this case for my Switch 2. True to its description, this is a pretty slim or low profile case, but doesn’t lack in protection. I’ve accidentally dropped this with my Switch in it and there was no damage to the switch.There isn’t a lot of extra storage, so if you’re wanting to also pack a charger cable in here, it won’t fit. There is some built in slots for game cards/extra SD cards on the screen protector flap, but that’s about it for what else will fit in there outside of the Switch.The case allows me to take the Switch in my backpack easily while not being too bulky. The carry handle is well attached. Would recommend if you want to travel with your Switch and not have a bulk case.

I love it for my switch 2. I previously purchased a different Tomtoc case for my switch lite and it was also a great product. I love the color variety and product quality. It feels sturdy and fits my switch like a glove.

I don't normally write reviews, but I noticed a lot of people looking at the extra space with the little pad at the top of the console as a bad design. I think this design actually works well. When my Switch 2 is zipped inside the case, I can't feel it moving at all. And the sticks line up perfectly with the little spaces on the top. I also think that if there wasn't some extra padding above the console, the L and R buttons would likely get accidentally pressed at some point. With most of the game card slots full, it does feel a little tight zipping it shut, but the edges of the game storage panel definitely leave room around all the buttons, and I don't feel like I need to pull on the zipper excessively to get it closed. Again, this definitely makes it so the Switch 2 can't shift around too much when you're carrying it. As big as the Switch 2 is, I probably won't be using the strap on my wrist, but it feels sturdy enough as a carry handle.Since this is a slimline case, this is definitely not for people who want to have one case to fit the Switch 2 with accessories (except game cards). But this will work well protecting the console when placed inside a larger bag or backpack. It does exactly what I wanted.

This case is awesome. Good durability, plenty of storage for quite a few games, and the strap on this thing may be thin but it's secure. Love the color though the white got dirty pretty quickly. I've had it for a few months now and traveled with it several times with no issues, has fit in most bags with how slim it is (thinner than the steam deck case). Good quality case with fun color options, not bad for the price

I was originally swayed by some of the 3-star reviews here that complain about the case being larger than it needs to be, about the pillow being a design "afterthought", about having to compress the case to zip it closed. I bought a slimmer case from another brand.Within 5 minutes of that other case arriving, I understood the tomtoc design, and realized those reviewers were wrong. I returned it and bought this one.The horizontal pillow (and extra space) is there to keep the switch from rattling side to side in the case, which also keeps the R/L buttons from pressing themselves over and over against the edges of the case. This case could not be any slimmer in that dimension and still do it's job. period.The tight fit when zipping closed is so you fully compress the screen pillow, which keeps the switch snugly positioned front to back. If there is no compression, there is no protection. My first case allowed the screen to rattle against the card holder (scratches, wear) instead of staying in contact with it. This is also correctly designed on the tomtoc.When you shake this case with your switch in it, you hear nothing. Its secure, and the buttons can't be pressed. When you shake the slimmer cases, it sounds like a maraca. You don't want your switch to be a maraca when you're traveling.

Great and Cheap just what I wanted i been looking for good case since I bought my switch 2 a while ago and this was the best match I could have find it looks great keeps my switch safe, has space for games and fits just right even dough my switch has a skin on so is bulkier than an average one I love this case 10/10 🩵🩵🩵

Este protector se siente de muy buena calidad y es muy compacto, aunque no te servirá para llevar el cargador o el docking station de la consola, es muy fácil de transportar y de almacenar porque queda casi del mismo tamaño que la Switch 2 cuando está dentro. Otro punto a favor es el diseño, de verdad se ve muy bien.

Étui très solide et pas trop grand avec un rangement pour les cartes des jeux intégrés. L’intérieur est très doux et pas de risque de griffures.
