It takes several hours to put together other than that no problems

Originally I marked this as a 1 star review. I’m updating to a 3 because communication from the seller was great. The product is still awful though.Let me start by saying this is not something that would be a good idea for your cats if you care about them. It’s not stable at all.It seems I may have gotten a used catio. There were a number of places that had pieces of woods missing, paint peeling off and obvious signs of holes drilled into it already. By the time I took it all out of the two boxes and laid everything out it was to late, there was no way I was going to get that jigsaw of pieces back in those boxes.When I say jigsaw I mean exactly that. The thin wood was stamped with numbers but impossible to read. I may have put it together backwards who knows.I decided there was no way I was going to let my cats hang out in this flimsy cheap wood cage. Maybe chickens would enjoy it, I don’t know, I don’t have chickens.I decided it will now be a cover for my generator for when it rains and snows.. The wood hang out spots are now a roof. And the tarp cover is over them. To be truthful the only sturdy thing is the tarp for the roof. My generator now has a 300+ cage.

It is light weight but frame is kind of cheesy material. Not very sturdy. Would not recomment for areas with higher winds when tarp is on the roof. It is possible to put together by one person but you need to know what you are doing, otherwise you will break the structure. Not very sturdy even fully assembled. Placing roof structure on alone is especial pain you know where. Came with plenty scratches. Ok for small animals like cats. I would say too expensive. Works for my needs right now but I should have built more serious structure myself but needed something rather fast. Appearance is ok.

This is a nice enclosure. Took longer to assemble than they estimated, but it is great.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:My cats love it, but if it hadn't been for my neighbor helping, I never would have been able to put it together. The directions aren't that clear. We screwed the 2 door pieces together, so I'm able to have 1 complete door. Also did that with the other window on the back, since I wasn't going to be using it.

Instructions are very general and not easy to follow. The wood splits really easy. The doorway frame is a trip hazard. The boxes are not sturdy. It rain the next day and the roof cover didn't keep bedding or cat liter box dry.

Our yard offers 6 hours of direct sun and the rest of the day is indirect light, so kitty loves his open air catio. He jumps from shelf to shelf freely. In this location, heat is not an issue, yet I bring him indoors every three hour, because he thinks he's human.
