Compact Power
I bought these speakers as monitors to attach to a Pioneer DJ Controller and also to my laptop to stream music. I absolutely love them. They are a satin black colour that looks very professional. The output is exceptionally clear and fully featured with significant bass. They are well made and very solid (heavy). I haven't fully tested the upper reaches of their volume yet but I expect it to be quite significant. They pack a punch. There is a full selection of leads in the box allowing 3.5mm jack, RCA and USB connections (also Bluetooth). The user manual is purely diagrams and more challenging than a typical IQ test but once you get past the manual, the controls are pretty cool. I now find it difficult to walk past these speakers without stopping to put on a tune. As far as value for money, I am very pleased. They feel like they would cost a lot more with a different brand name on them.

Small but mighty!
I bought these to replace a set of Logitech Z623 speakers I'd had for about 8 years that were really bad for interference and humming constantly, the idea being that by connecting these via USB or Bluetooth I could eliminate that. I got these for £127 in a sale, quite expensive, even on sale, but they're excellent quality and hopefully last as long as my Z623 set did. The speakers themselves are quite small, but feel solid and are easily loud enough for most people. Nice bit of bass too without any configuration done. Dead easy to connect vi Bluetooth, literally plug and play. To connect with USB, simply press the power button until it goes red and job done. Works fine on both connections - and works with a good quality USB-A to USB-C cable (instead of the supplied USB-C cable). The connection on both seems fine and doesn't drop. They're definitely as good as my Z623 in terms of overall sound quality, and the set is far smaller too. It's nice not to have a big subwoofer sat on the floor and to have minimal cables. The bass on the Z623 or a similar set with a sub is of course going to be better, but most of the time I had the bass quite low anyway in fear of the neighbours! Would definitely recommend these and other Edifier products. I could be tempted to get the cheaper R990BT set for use in the living room to connect the laptop to via Bluetooth since the Google Nest I use in there is famous for disconnecting randomly from Apple devices!

Surprisingly agile and clear soundstage from a diminutive set of speakers. Brilliant.
Update after living with these for a few months. These continue to impress me I thought the 1 inch tweeter would be too much for the midrange but these put out a very clean low end and fabulous soundstage. You can literally point to exactly where the sound engineer wanted to place each instrument. Gorillaz are a fine way to review them. Plucks on the bass, beeps and tweets are easily placed, and the listening is never tiring like it can be with larger speakers in a close setting like a desk. My son is an EDM and. DnB engineer and even he is impressed by the sound these put out. He knows how to find the limits and some bass drops do cut off before they’ve finished or with volume right up tend to muffle, but that is from his extreme EDM and extreme drum n bass mixes really belting through them. For any normal listener, you can’t get much better than these. I picked them up in a sale at £119 which makes them a steal. But don’t be put off by the £150 tag, they are worth that and can compete with much larger monitor audio bx3 bronze in the same setting because you have to have the monitor audio boxes at a much lower level. Oh, and do use the supplied stands, they definitely help direct the sound and enhance the instrument separation. I have a couple of larger stands I am going to try to enable lifting of them off the desk space and above my monitors next. One happy customer. If there is one comment, it would be that the touch sensitive controls on the top could be better placed at the bottom front aspect so you could see them directly rather than hunt about on a surface you can’t quite see as well. That would mean bigger boxes though. Original review below For the size and the price I am amazed with these speakers. They perform way above expectations, and are fine in a small room as well as in a near field monitor configuration. If you position these pointed from a corner then you get zones with little bass and other zones where the bass seems overblown, and I think that has to do with the bass vent firing to the rear. I am yet to try with bass traps and some foam behind the speaker boxes to see if they will help reduce the boom and clean up the sound a bit. Using on a desk, is the ideal position and they provide a nice soundstage and instrument separation. Sound quality in this configuration is much more pleasant at low and mid volumes. With inputs including usb-c, 3.5mm and Bluetooth there is no shortage of options, and connection is solid with all of them. Value for money is without question, it is hard to imagine how edified have done these at this low price. I managed to get them in a spring deal for £120ish way below rrp of £160, and for that price they are a steal. To sum up, great little speaker with decent input options and a much larger soundstage than their size suggests. Work within their limits and you will love them but push them in too large a room and you will be more “meh”. Congratulations Edifier, brilliant set of speakers

Excellent compact speakers big upgrade from Pebble V3’s
I’ve got limited desk space so compact speakers are always something I buy and before the M60’s came about you’d have to spend 200 plus for a decent pair. So I ended up getting the Pebble V3’s for £30 which got the job done nothing special. I seen the Edifier M60’s on sale and decided to go for the upgrade and wow these speakers blew me away. For the size the bass and sound is very full and has a nice warmth to it. So many details or guitar bass-lines that I couldn’t hear before are now very clear. I will say to make sure you update your speakers firmware with the EdifierConnex app on your phone. On there you can also set the EQ you want very useful. You can switch between 3 modes by tapping the power button. Blue light - Bluetooth. Red light - USB and Green light - Aux. All very straight forward and probably the best value for money compact speakers one can buy. Even the cable that connects the two speakers is thick and of good quality.

Cool little speakers for everyday use
4 stars not because I don't like this but because while every review states that the sound clarity is way better than others in the same price category. 5 years back I've bought a pair of JVC active speakers for 99 quid. To be honest, they would hold up againts these in sound quality, on other ways, these speakers are better in every way. Please note that these speakers are SMALL. A lot smaller than others which produce the same sound. What I love about this is that it wakes up from line-in (aux) immediately meaning it functions perfectly for a PC speaker. Bluetooth is as expected, connects fast, stays reliable. No remote is a bit of letdown but still okay. The app is basic but you shouldn't be using it too often either. The equalizer is however behind an app.

Sound good and good value for money
I think these speakers are excellent value for money, they are easy to set up, easy to use, seem solidly built and sound very good for the price point. I mostly play streamed classical music through them and am happy, and I am a fussy listener.

Great little speakers - Buy Them!!
Delighted with purchase. Really compact but very solid and provide an excellent volume and depth of sound. Purchased during the Spring Sale so a nice little discount making them great value for money, although I would have paid the list price for them such is the quality. Rarely are products packaged so well, refreshing to see and means that they arrive in perfect condition Easy to position on the desk because of the compact size and the touch sensitive controls on the top of the base unit are easy to use.

Great sound, really impressed for the size, you can definitely hear the quality and pokey output. Plain and simple design, nothing not to like.

Great speakers at a bargain price
If you have Desktop, adding these to you setup is a gamechanger. They punch above speakers twice the price. The only negative is the they keep releasing new firmware almost every other day and hence you need to update that else the USB streaming function stops working.
