I bought this for my 20-year-old cat who has become very skinny, and it’s been a huge help. Noticed a difference in my cat within the first week. Was giving her a small marble sized amount mixed in with a tiny bit of warm water to melt it, and then mixed into her wet food each meal, for about 3 or 4 days. We went to a family member's house and I forgot it, and within two days noticed that she was less interested in her food. Went home to get it and her appetite picked right back up. I truly believe this has been a contributing factor in her staying as alert and active as she has been, while she's been sick. She's an absolutely tiny little thing that cannot afford to lose any weight, so having this available has been great. Be forewarned though, open it with the lip end upwards as it comes out and it's sticky as honey and gets everywhere hahaha. I open it upwards, then tip it over her dish and use a toothpick to cut it off and then tip it back upright and re-cap it. Otherwise you get strings of it that fly around, like you would with honey.
