I've bought six SIM cards from scancom now over the years to use in various devices, they're cheap enough that you can have a backup router and SIM just in case on your network. This was the first time I'd had an issue with one - it just stopped working one morning. I contacted customer support and received a replacement card by next day delivery.Excellent service

Do not make the same mistake I did. I bought the pack of 3 SIMs thinking I would be set for data for the next couple of months. The reality couldn't be more different due to a policy that feels like a trap.​The clock on your data plan starts the moment the seller marks it as "dispatched", not the day you receive it nor when you start using it. I used the first SIM, and the connection was great. But to my surprise ran out about a week short due to delivery time, and the other two sims were also also dead by then. Still sitting here in its unopened packaging – now just a piece of useless plastic.​To add insult to injury, when I contacted the seller to explain that I had paid for two products I never got to use, they were dismissive and completely unhelpful. No solution, no apology. Just money thrown in the bin. Awful experience all around. Nowhere in the description it says that the activation is upon order, you get an hit in the title but it's vague and confusing. I wonder if it's done on purpose... If I know it before I wouldn't have purchased a single sim from here.

Had this for a month so far, it's a 5G SIM but the tp link router is only LTE, that said it works. It is being used in an empty property connected to the CCTV that sends out motion detection photos as soon as there is any movement and it definitely works even when there is a reflection. At the property It achieves 10 to 15mbps download and 2mbps upload which is fair for where it is placed although at my own house it was hitting 35mbps down and 15mbps up so I am confident if I relocated the unit to the upstairs floor it would get a better rssi to the EE sim. As long as it works for the time stated I'll be happy as it's saving me a running around. Having a constant live view remotely at my home and on all our mobiles via the CCTV platform app. I may replace the tplink unit with a 5G SIM compatible router that has dual band 802.11 WiFi, if I see a good deal as I know this can achieve a better throughput.
