I will 1st start off by saying I purchased this product with my own money a few days ago. A lot of times when a product has little to no reviews companies will send free products for an "honest review", aka boost starts and make people buy it, but this is not the case for me. I recently watched my favorite natural hair YouTuber Iamtraeh to a review of the edge controls and thought oh well here's another YouTuber trying to get sponsorships and push products out on people. BUT I watched her video and saw that it LAYED AND SLAYED her 4b/4c hair. Since I'm transitioning and have a 4a hair texture I was hopeful this product would work for me. I had been looking for a good edge control for a while now. Every time I would buy and edge control or pomade it would end up being too hard and start flaking or greasy. I was so skeptical about this product that I waited a few days to even ordered it but I jumped in a few days ago and just decided to order it. It arrived within a week. The jar is a decent size and a lot bigger than I expected. Definitely could last a couple months or more with applying as directed. My edges were coily and slightly nappy but as soon as I put the product on my edges went straight and slicked back. I love the consistency. It's like a stiff gel but not sticky like got2bglued. It's very light and refreshing to my edges. It was almost cooling when I put it on. Not to mention the SMELL! THIS IS THE BEST SMELLING HAIR PRODUCT I OWN! It smells exactly like lemon berry! I would eat it if I could jk. Honestly though if you're looking for an edge control that is 100% bomb and smells great get this one!

Ive been using Edge Booster for the past two years now. I love the texture. Im biracial so i have fine to medium textured curls. Wax based edge control products where to sticky to apply and to hard as the final result for my edges. Lotion/cream based edge control never worked because they wouldnt slay my edges or fly aways all day. Mid morning/early afternoon I'd already have to re apply. Edge Booster not only has amazing smelling Edge control products but the gel like texture works amazing with my edge brush and last all day. The less you apply, or the more diluted (h20 on edge control brush with a dab of this stuff) is really all i need for a soft/medium hold that last all day. The more you apply the more hardened result you get which of corse also means long lasting.. and i mean looonng... like all day and night into the next day if thats what you need Lol. Ither way, you can work with this product... sculpt it, dilute it, max it.. which ever it works all ways and on all types of hair (literally). Did i mention the amazing scent options? LOL It's ah 'YAAAASSSS' FOR ME LADIES!!!

The smell is amazing and the hold is great!! The only thing I don’t like is it can get “gummy” and “white” in your hair after continuous use. To remedy that I add a little water and oil to my edges and use the left over product that is already in my hair and tie down. Works like a charm and saves on using unnecessary product, there’s not much to begin with. I hope this helps 😊

I started using this edge control 2 years ago when my cousin recommended it. I have 3B/3C hair and it keeps my edges laid for days! If I need to reactivate it I just spray a little water and brush it lightly with my edge brush. This stuff is the truth! Don’t use too much or your edges will be white. But if they do turn white just wash it out or spritz some water and you’ll be fine. This edge control lasts through humid summers, the gym, sauna etc. I usually have to wash it out. Also another pro tip, to really make it last awhile after applying the edge control top it with your favorite gel. I use either wet line extreme gel, Miss Jessie’s señora Rizada gel, or Mizani gel depending on the hold I am looking for. Since finding this I haven’t looked back! You won’t regret it! I always get Grape, Strawberry, and Blueberry scents. The scents actually last too!

The product is great. It has firm hold and smooths to a flawless finish without flakiness and has durability. It is worth the price, plus a little goes a long way.
