I remember my mother using red light heat lamp back in the 70's so I was curious to try this and see how far technology had come.The product itself is a good size and light weight. I love that it has a timer on it too, so I can relax while using it and not have to worry about keeping an eye on the clock. The design and usage are very simple but effective. I do feel that it is helping my aches and pains. I am hesitant to use it on my face as I have rosacea but that is my personal issue. But maybe I will try it to see if it helps heal it? I'll update if it does.

Most importantly- this thing works. The lights are bright and strong and this unit does the job it claims to do. While using, it feels nice and is relaxing. And now after about a month of use I can visibly see the difference in my skin. I also like that it came with decent red light protection glasses and a magnetic stand. The magnetic piece on the unit is the same as Apple magsafe so if you have a good, versatile magsafe stand you could use it on this. I also like that it is powered with USB-C, but if you want to use your own power adapter it needs to be a higher power one (laptop charger, not a phone charger).As far as the unit though- for around 100 dollars I expected better. The whole thing feels like it is made of cheap plastic (similar to a kid's toy) and the controls are poor and make this thing very annoying to use.As far as the controls- it is difficult to change the settings because as soon as you turn the unit on the lights are on so it is way too bright to look it. It would be nice if you could somehow choose your setting and then press "play" to start it but it doesn't work like that. So then you put on the glasses and this allows you to see the numbers/letters on the display but then you can no longer see the control buttons because they are not backlit. This makes you either memorize which buttons are which or have the glasses on to block the light but then look downward out the bottom of them to use the controls. Once you get that sorted, you then have to find which setting you want and this is not very intuitive. It uses codes for the different settings and you have to scroll through them to find what you want, so you have to either memorize the codes or write them down or keep the instruction manual nearby.

I noticed an immediate improvement with my skin after using this for the first time for 20 minutes. It's pink, which isn't my color, but it's only me that sees this so who cares. The settings let you choose from several lights from the mild to the stronger. The stronger light is super bright. The lights are red. I've also noticed this improves my mood as well, which is great during the down days when it's overcast and grey. That's often as I live in a beach city. This also comes with protective eye goggles. I thought I could do some work on the computer with the goggles on and the light positioned on my face, but found that to be limiting as I have to see color on the computer and the googles reduce that. Should be fine for typing words though.

I am new to red light therapy. I have had my friends telling me about the benefits of red light therapy and recommended it. When I came across this product I was super excited. It is portable and easy to use. This is perfect size for face and targeting areas such as joints or knees. This red light device is lightweight and easy on hands allowing me to hold it with hand. I can also set it up on table making it more comfortable to use. I use it for about 15 mins everyday and it seems to work. Love it!!!

This device is about the size of a small tablet, just a little thicker so it is easy to take it anywhere. The power mode selections and light spectrums make this product an excellent choice. I have been using red light therapy for a while and am a believer. This unit hits all of the marks for me.

This red light therapy unit was easy to set up and use. I took it with me on a recent trip since I don't like my hand held unit because it only does small areas. This packed well, altho I wrapped bubble wrap around it. Very pleased with the size and its performance.
