So far I am fairly impressed.Out of the box it's an okay, if occasionally sluggish, Windows 10 mini machine. It's 10bit HEVC performance is really quite good, handling the 300mbps jellyfish video demo with ease, and mostly managing the 400mbps version okay - so video playback - good.It's eMMc performance is actually pretty good for eMMc, but compared with virtually any other "drive" fairly pathetic, this can make the system less than responsive at times. So I tried an M.2 drive, as i wanted the OS on a faster medium and I was informed by "everyone" on the internet that that was my only option for a bootable drive in this type of machine.The M.2 drives write speeds were actually lower than the eMMc's!! It also only takes 2242 M.2 drives, which really limits options and knocks all of the decent manufacturers out of the running.So....I figured out how to get an SSD bootable, clone the eMMc onto it keeping the Windows 10 activation etc, and it works, it's now a perfectly acceptable PC, not just an acceptable mini PC. It's just a pity it's running Windows 10 and won't take an install of 7.Opening the case to fit an M.2, not easy, I watched up videos and had case opening tools and I still cosmetically damaged it, they really don't want people doing this, and it's not actually necessary, I as now know how make an SSD bootable in it..So, if you've got the patience to set it up properly, a nice general purpose machine, if not, it's still pretty good as a media player.ETA - It turned out the microphone wasn't working on my one either, not at all important to me, but if it is to you.......
