This shoe delivers on comfort, but it has a specific fit requirement you need to know about. The standout feature of version 9 is the updated premium midsole, which uses a super-critically foamed EVA. It gives you an extra 2mm of stack height compared to older models. The shock absorption is phenomenal. Walking on a hard treadmill or concrete feels less like a harsh impact and more like a resilient, springy roll. The built-in MetaRocker geometry naturally rolls your stride forward, taking a ton of pressure off your knees, ankles, and lower back during longer 30 to 40-minute sessions. While the cushioning is peak plushness, the standard medium (D width) version of the Bondi 9 is notoriously narrow through the midfoot and toebox. If you have feet that naturally swell after walking, or if you previously had to wear a Wide in the Bondi 8, do not buy the standard width. You absolutely must buy the Wide (EE) or Extra Wide version. Going with the Wide provides the necessary accommodating space so your toes aren't rubbing against the front corners when your feet expand. Pros. This is the second or third pair of these shoes I've ordered and they are fantastic. The sole is quite thick, but they are surprisingly light still. They fit well with a little breaking in, my heel slides a little at first until getting them tightened right and worn in after a couple of weeks. They are breathable so my feet don't get hot and at first it takes a little getting used to for how they are soft when you step but then have a little spring to them. Great shoes for a lot of walking around or standing on concrete floors all day. No more leg soreness since I started wearing them.

Truthfully, I have always thought this brand’s shoe line is hideous. However, my sister who suffers from some similar injuries as I, insisted that I try them. I don’t care if they look like I’m wearing Michelin tires anymore — these are like walking on mattresses! I’ll never submit them for aesthetic superiority, but fit, feel, and comfort-they’re 2nd to none. Buy them if you have orthotic pain or work on a hard surface. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

Excellent product. Fits true to size after wearing a couple times but will feel tight on first fitting. Feels light. Double the heel padding of Nike, New Balance, and Adias is just what I needed.

These are by far the most comfortable running shoes I’ve owned. The cushioning is excellent and provides great support for long walks, standing all day, or everyday wear. They fit true to size, feel lightweight, and help reduce foot fatigue. The quality is outstanding, and they look great too. Definitely worth the investment. I would buy another pair without hesitation.

Outstanding shoe just a bit overpriced for how long they last. They do not wear very well

I have waited 26 years for a walking shoe like the Bondi 9 and am super appreciative to the Hoka team for making them. Why? After walking a 5k twice since I slipped these on, I have not felt any pain whatsoever. I had hammertoe real bad, until now. That's history! No longer worried about that. I don't care how these look (which isn't bad anyway); because I walk early in the morning. They work for what they are intended to do and that is what counts. I will admit that walking in takes a little getting use to because these shoes are a little higher up from the ground than I am use to, but that is okay. No problem with that. I do also have to mention -- after doing some research, the best way to wear these Bondi's is with wool, not cotton, or else you might experience some uncomfortable rubbing which gets annoying after mile 2.5. So, I did switch to wool, and now I feel like I am walking on air at 4 miles per hour, which is good considering my age. I have no idea how durable these are since I have only worn them for a short time, but they are lightweight and very stable, especially for what I consider these shoes to be big overall, not foot wise, but shoe wise. Hopefully, I made that clear. I still cannot believe my feet felt the same from start to finish without pain. I am totally flabbergasted! But, that's just me. You might have a different opinion on that, which is fine. Again, a HUGE thanks to the Hoka team for creating this shoe. It runs a bit expensive, but it is definitely worth the price.!

I bought these today after a lot of deliberation. I’ve had heel pain for around 10 years, especially when starting to walk after resting. Once I get going it’s usually tolerable, but those first steps have often been the worst part. I started looking properly at footwear after beginning a gym routine, because the pain in my feet was getting worse and it finally occurred to me that always buying cheaper shoes might be part of the problem. The honest reason I wanted to review these so quickly is that as soon as I put them on and stood up, the pain almost disappeared. It genuinely caught me off guard. I’ve worn them all day now and the pain has been almost non-existent, which is a huge change for me. I usually buy a UK size 9, but that was out of stock so I went for a UK 8.5 instead. They fit perfectly and still have a tiny bit of space, so I actually think 8.5 may be my true size. It’s just a harder size to find in the UK. Obviously I’ve only had them one day, so I can’t say anything yet about long-term wear or durability, but first impressions are extremely positive. If they hold up well, they’ll easily be one of the best purchases I’ve made. I’ll update again in 6 months with how they wear over time.

Leicht und superweich. Die Größenangabe von Amazon stimmt leider nicht. Mir wurde es empfohlen die Größe 47 1/3 zu nehmen, tatsächlich passte erst die Große 49. Bei +30°C wird zumindest in schwarzen Schuhen sehr schnell heiß. Aber das ist schon ein Jammer auf hohem Niveau. Sonst erfüllen die Schuhen ihren Hauptzweck: entlasten meine Beine und bringen so auch bei einem leichten Shin Splitting eine Erleichterung für Schmerzen in einem Bein beim Gehen.

Bonjour, l’article est de bonne qualité je suis très heureux. Par contre le livreur m’a bloqué ma boîte aux lettres. J’ai failli casser la clé impossible de réouvrir la boîte aux lettres. J’ai appelé La Poste pour qu’il vienne m’ouvrir toutes les boîte aux lettres d’un seul coup alors que j’étais à mon domicile et qu’il avait qu’à sonner à la porte, je lui ai ouvert, je n’ai pas été contacté par Amazon pour me dire que le livreur arriverait dans cette livraison trois livraisons comme d’habitude. La livraison est arrivé le 27 août tant mieux alors qu’Amazon me disait entre le 28 et le 30 août voilà sinon l’article est génial.
