The kettle is larger than I expected. I really wanted it for travel, and I may still use it for our next trip. This way, we can boil tap water to use for brushing teeth and face washing when water is questionable. But for now, it looks nice in our kitchen and heats water really fast for tea.

I only use water inside this pot. It claims to be able to warm soups and things. But I can tell cleaning inside this kettle would not be that easy. My hand does not slip inside to clean very well.

As always, Dash delivers a simple, useful product. It's easy to fill with water from the tap, as the top pops open. It has just one switch to turn it on, and a light indicating it is on. It boils water within just a couple of minutes, and switches itself off. I love that it is cordless, so I can pick it up and pour without any hindrance whatsoever. It is a clean, retro style and my favorite color to boot. Love my Dash kettle (and all of my other Dash products)!

I always had a bad habit of boiling my tea kettles dry. They just didn't whistle loudly enough. I fell in love with my first electric tea kettle and ended up keeping it upstairs in my bathroom so I can refresh my hot water bottle in the middle of the night. I bought this one for the kitchen. The color works and heats up quickly. It's actually bigger than I thought and need but I'm happy.

I replaced an electric hot water heater that I had for nearly eight years and loved, for this Dash kettle. However, it was bulky, temperamental and in retrospect, a bit too pricey.I absolute love the simplicity of this little unit and highly recommend it for the price. It brings water to a boil fast, and then shuts itself off which is really valuable for me when I’m rushing and need a few extra minutes. Pours easily and the outside is a nice surface to keep clean. Don’t hesitate to purchase — the value for your money is definitely 5 Stars!

I like this kettle a lot. I would love it more if the lid opened all the way but it does work very well.Several people mentioned this smelled like plastic when it arrived and they couldn’t get rid of it. While it did smell like plastic, the smell went away by boiling two full kettles of water and dumping the water each time. Didn’t taste it when I made a cup of tea immediately after the two kettles of water.

I bought this kettle for my wife who loves this color. It works great as it heats water quickly and has a rather large capacity of 1.7 L.Unfortunately to fill it, the cap only opens partially so to fill it you need to keep it tilted underneath the faucet.It also seems a bit more plasticky than other electric kettles I've used and seems flimsy so I worry about the longevity of this product.At the end of the day it heats water, and quickly and that's good enough.
