Recently purchased to replace a set of Oneida flatware that I gave to my son. I was looking to get an identical set but at $440 for the 8 place setting, I decided to opt for this set at a considerably lower price.I prefer the hexagonal design but this design is acceptable and feels good in my hands.My interim set (first picture) “cut into/pinched” my hands and was quite uncomfortable and cost a little more than this set.This set is sturdy, the set I’ve been using in the interim though reasonably thick, bent relatively easily. An easy test for me is scooping ice cream out of a container, these did very well and didn’t yield to the pressure.

First off. I'm picky regarding eating utensils, and prefer handling them before purchasing. This is the first time I have ordered silverware on-line. That said, I am extremely pleased with this purchase.The handles are a bit on the slim side, but not too small. Just smaller than what I normally use, so feels different. I did detract one star for comfort for that simply because I think they would be better a little beefier. But that is all.Despite the diameter of the handles, the set is comfortable. They are heavy. Not too heavy, just heavy enough that they are pleasurable to use, and are not chintzy.The bowls of the spoons are nice. Not too deep, and not too flat. The fork tines are well spaced and they stab nicely. The knives have small serrations toward the ends, so they cut and spread equally well.There aren't any rough edges on the handles or on the eating surfaces.The handles aren't slick. They are easy to grip and keep a hold of.Highly recommend this set of utensils.

This was a wedding gift 15 years ago but we lost some knives over the years. I am glad I found them again here in Amazon. They’ve held up and never had a spec of rust or any issues. They’re very durable and pretty. Best, strongest silverware. They look great and are extremely durable.

I've been using this set for several weeks now. The pieces have good weight to them, no visible effects from going through the dishwasher, and I like their aesthetics. There were, however, a couple pieces with minor scratches on the otherwise shiny utensil surface; I have continued to use them but think the QA/QC should be a little more thorough.

Just bought this silverware set for my grandson (for Christmas) who just moved into his first apartment... He really likes it, to soon to rate the durability yet... The set did seem well made and sturdy....

I'm one of those people who has to find utensils that are well balanced, feels good in my fingers, nicely fits hands and mouth, and look nice. I first got this set somewhere around 20 years ago, so it was really nice to see, when I needed to buy more flatware for my growing family, that I could order more. Thank goodness, because I didn't want to switch from these beautiful utensils! The handles are smooth but slightly textured. The aesthetic is elegant and minimalist, which I like. The utensils are the most balanced of any that I've ever tried, and I especially like the smaller ones for eating (though my family likes the bigger ones, too). I just really, really love this flatware set, and I honestly feel very lucky to have found that they're still making them after nearly 20 years.

We have been looking to replace/expand our set of silverware that we bought at least 10 years ago and loved the design-- however we could never find that same design again and nothing else we've seen (that is reasonable for everyday silverware) even remotely looked nice to us. What a surprise to then find our exact pattern for sale!! We bought 2 sets (not sure if it was exact or close match), and it turned out that it was an exact match! So now we have heaps of silverware, but we're going to store some away for when we have parties and be happy that we have found our favorite pattern again.Quality is excellent- strong, well-made, tarnish resistant. It has a nice neutral masculine/feminine balance so that both I and my wife really like it.

It's a nice set, love the look, weight, and feel of them. But all the knives rusted after the first wash! There is no product support for this item. Not worth returning the whole set, so I'll just try to find the closest match and buy more knives. It was a really nice set for the price, so disappointed.
