Cheap quality, the breadboard is barely usable with how misaligned holes with rails underneath. Everything else works fine.

After watching many, many diy videos, this set looks like it has most of the components i need for learning projects i would like to try. As for the quality, i don't know but i will learn. i do know, it has a lot of the stuff to get started and a kit this size saves you a lot of $$$ in the long run. I looked at small kits that had a few projects in then and when done you have to buy another kit with some of the same parts like bread boards, jumper wires soldering irons and so on. The next thing you know you spent a lot of money, only a few projects done and a lot of spare parts you may never use. ytue has many diy projects, pick the ones you want to do and you have a nice array of parts to choose from or if you want to try repairs this kit should have what you need. As with any kit you may choose, you will not know the quality until you use then.

There comes a time when electronic instruments burn out which is why I use the 2300 pieces of mixed parts to replace the ones that have burned out in coffee makers, kitchen appliances, and remotes, DVD & BD players. This basically is used to extend the working life of these products!
