Worked fine in my circuit to turn an instrusion alarm off after 30 seconds. I needed some way to automatically turn the alarm off after a short duration so it would not run continuously. (Neighbors appreciate that) Would buy another. Good product.

When I got the board, I was surprised to find that in order for the delay to work, a momentary short of the pins next to the power connector was required. What I wanted was a delay after power was applied. The following simple modification will fix that. Connect a 100uF capacitor and 20kohm resistor in parallel and then connect them between the boards trigger pins. If you are using a polarized capacitor, make sure the negative side connects to the pin nearest the power connector. FYI ... there are many values that could work ... this just worked for my needs. In operation, the capacitor will look like a short at power-up and them will become "open" as it charges off the positive side of the pin. The 20kohm resistor discharges the capacitor quickly if the power glitches ... even if the glitch is fairly short. The resistor value isn't so small that the circuit detects a short though the resistor.

Item is not a delay on off relay it requires a momentary trigger and comes with no instructions other than what's in the listing wasted my time and money

Dear lord... Instructions are here. Useless without a momentary trigger/switch, really? Of course it is, because otherwise just use the switch. #Here'sYourSign I am buying, because I need the functionality of the product and, save for a faulty relay, is reviewed to work as designed.

It took a while but after screen shots of diagram were studied I did get it to function. the trigger thing is necessary or it would be on all the time. setting the timer "range" is like a little puzzle . it is difficult to set an accurate delay time but it is close enough for what i need (2.5 secs.) i installed it on the latching circuit for my relay which drives a 24 v motor. i would like to know the durability, will it work for 1000 cycles per day for 2 years? For the cost it is a good buy if it can last.

I just wish it came with any usage documentation at all. Even a model number on it, would have been helpful!

One out of the two worked. One was bad and I did all the test and found it has a bad relay. But the one that did work works great but I am still down One.
