Setting up the Hisense 55" QD7 Series Mini-LED TV was a breeze, and once it powered on, I was immediately impressed. The Mini-LED with full array local dimming makes a huge difference — blacks look deep without washing out the brights, and there's almost no haloing even during high-contrast scenes. Watching movies and sports feels incredibly lifelike, with every tiny detail popping right off the screen.The QLED color really stands out too. Colors are rich and vibrant without looking overly saturated — greens, reds, and blues all feel natural and sharp. Dolby Vision support adds even more depth and detail, and combined with Dolby Atmos, it made movie nights way more immersive. Even the built-in speakers weren't bad for casual viewing, though obviously not home-theater level.Gaming was another huge win here. Game Mode Plus and the support for variable refresh rates and low latency made playing smooth and lag-free. I tested it with both a PS5 and Xbox, and everything from fast shooters to open-world adventures looked sharp and felt responsive, with no noticeable screen tearing.Overall, this TV punches far above its price tag. The picture quality is excellent — vibrant, sharp, and really immersive. Setup was super easy, everything worked right out of the box. I got the 75" model and it’s absolutely massive — feels like having a theater at home! Definitely worth it for the price.

This is an absolute monster tv. The picture quality is awesome. I only knock it down to 4 stars because it would be nice if the audio was a little crisper. I highly recommend to anyone looking to upsize without spending more than you need to.

The picture is great for the price point. However, it constantly needs to be restarted cause and never be turned off. It's constantly in sleep mode when it's "off". This is a Fire TV "feature" but that's the operating system on the TV so it's the TV. There was an reboot option when I first turned on TV. That would clear out the cache and wipe anything that was effecting the TVs performance. That option was gone after the first update. So if you want to do any of that you have to perform a factory reset and 100% start over. If it still had the reboot option. 4 stars.Edited to 1 star because Amazon reached out with a"fix" by telling me what I've already said in this review and offered no real solutions. In fact, I just repeated what I said in this post because they obviously didn't read it in the first place.
