Love the red color. Easy to spot and adds a bright accent to my marbled black countertop. Keeps hot items from damaging my countertop. Relatively easy to clean. If you spill or drop something on it, best to rinse/wash off while it’s still fresh so it doesn’t become encrusted into the waffle grooves. Have also used it to grip jar lids to break the vacuum seal for easier opening. Very functional. Great buy. Reasonable price.

I’ve had a set of these for a couple of years now and I use them almost every day. They are seriously great. I use them to pull things out of the oven, as trivets for dishes on the table, and underneath bowls in the microwave to make it easier to take them out. These have held up great to everything we’ve thrown at them. The one thing that is sort of a con is that when you spill food in the little honeycombs, it is hard to clean them by hand. However, you can easily throw these in the dishwasher and they come out fine. We lost one of our original set so I have now ordered another set to make sure we always have these on hand for use. That’s how much we love them. The new ones are the same quality as the old ones. I would not hesitate to purchase these again in the future for any reason. They would also make a good house warming gift. These are great looking and the gray is a really nice neutral. Highly recommended! If this review has been helpful, please let me know below.

These are very beautiful hot pads. They look great in my kitchen and work very well. Normally, if they are hot, I just put the pot on the hob but it is a nightmare when you use all the rings, so it saves an attempt to clean the drain. These mats are small and not too big, they seem to fit my biggest pot and the smallest pot. If I need to put an oven tray, I put a couple together, which is enough to cover the surface of my full-size oven tray. These are very valuable.

After about a year: They're still going strong, but I do find picking up shallow pans since they don't fold under well. There's still a place for cloth potholders. -1*Original 5* Review:Edit: These are durable! I dropped one directly on the oven eye by accident for a full minute and it survived with barely any cosmetic damage.I finally broke down and bought these to replace my 8+ year old cloth pot holders. Unlike cloth these won't immediately burn off your hands if you unknowingly use them slightly wet and you can actually hold the pan for well over a minute before it gets too hot to touch unlike cloth. They are slightly annoying to dry, but it's much quicker to rinse than a cloth pot holder.They have more uses too. I've been using them to open stuck jar lids, as trivets for pans, to secure my mixing bowl, as drying mats for a few glasses, and even a garlic peeler! (Just roll up the garlic in the mat and press-roll it back and forth.) The pot holders are quickly becoming my favorite small gadget in my kitchen.

LOVE LOVE LOVE! My step-mom has had some of these forever and I have wanted them! Finally got around to buying them. They are durable and non-slick and work wonders! Cloth ones often have a 'time limit' when grabbing hot items. You wind up having to move quicker because you can feel the heat penetrating the cloth. These keep that heat at bay! My counter tops aren't even hot after these have been set down for a while with a large pot of soup in it. Would recommend and I need more!

The silicone pot holders arrived today, when I happened to be cooking a 10 pound ham. I decided to try them out for the first time by removing the ham from the hot oven. As I began to lift the pan, it occurred to me that if they were slippery or if the heat hit my hands, this could end up as a big hot mess. But voila! They are perfect for gripping and lifting a heavy hot dish from the oven. They're even more flexible and soft than I expected and seem super sturdy. Being easy to clean is another huge plus. These are an awesome improvement over my old cloth potholders which are now officially retired!

I really like these pot holders. I'd been wanting to replace mine for years since I hated the look of my old, worn-out ones sitting on my counter to protect the counter-tops from hot stuff. These are a good value for the price and were higher quality than I had expected. The black pot holders look nice next to my stove and do the job well. I'd buy these again for sure. They can be used to help open jars too, which is nice.

I use these durable pads in several ways. They work well for lifting wide glass pans without handles from the oven, or as second support under heavy large iron skillet opposite handle. They are great as trivets on table to avoid damage from even very hot containers. I use them on tray in wheelchair to keep plates from sliding. They wash easily and stay new looking "forever". Good value, too.
