Moved home recently and the boxes are great. Large in size, can take a heavy load inside and are robust and strong. Used packing tape to seal then bottom and was secure. Really pleased with the product. Can stack and have one side cut-out on opposite sides, for handles to carry with ease.

good product to use when packing stuff to move house the medium size is a good all-round size but i would advise to use packing tape to reinforce the bottom and dont under estimate the amount of boxes you will need!!

Great for most things but I packed dinner service in stronger boxes.

I had to pack up a 15 room house and a garage recently: these boxes have been invaluable. They are sturdy, made of thick cardboard. If you construct them correctly, and cut the tape carefully when opening, the boxes are reusable and of a decent size for most people's needs. The handles are generally sturdy but one or two of them did fail (see below about the ones that did not.) These boxes were stacked ceiling to floor for several months in storage and most of them survived the trip intact. The ones that did not were ones that I had over packed, so that was down to user error rather than any issue with the boxes themselves. *Make sure you can lift the box easily before sealing to avoid damage to the box or handles, do not overfill them.* I had a lot of heavy books, binders, and electronics to move and all my stuff survived the trip in these boxes.

There's a mini minefield of boxes on Amazon, and it's challenging to decipher which are most suitable. I was close to buying the standard Medium StorePAK boxes until noticing these heavy-duty versions which use 4mm thick double-wall cardboard. These hold at least 20KG easily and don't feel like they're going to collapse. Also, these are PERFECTLY sized for packing stuff up to move house. These are slightly better quality than the same size but more expensive "Ready Steady Store" boxes and have a better capacity than the Direct Global Trading boxes (Can't comment on the quality of those). Highly recommended!

I had recently bought a pack of ten of these exact boxes before, from Argos, and was just about to buy another pack when I checked online....and realised that for another pound or two, I would get FIFTEEN boxes instead of ten. Also, it really is worth paying a little extra and purchasing the 'heavy duty' boxes. I am packing away a lot of my books, in advance of a house move, and I am glad I took the advice to purchase SMALLER but extra strong boxes, to be sure they would take the weight of the books and yet still be 'carry-able'. This size is actually really useful for many other things too. I would definitely recommend. I have also purchased the same brand of boxes in the medium size, by the way, which is a useful 'next size up'....not too huge and cumbersome to have around the house either.

Wanted to come back here for more now that we’re moving house, however in over a year it’s doubled in price! I’ll have to go elsewhere now.

The boxes are easy to assemble, much easier than some of the larger ones, and can contain quite enough material to make up a load for a single (as in 'one') person. Ideal. The consignment arrived in torn plastic packaging in the middle of a prolonged downpour. It remained outside for about half an hour before I discovered it, and was wet at one corner and on one of the outer sides. However, it dried out well and remained strong. Nonetheless the prudent parcel assembler should have a good supply of wide brown parcel tape
