I got the freezer because the house I'm renting has a smaller than normal fridge, and my roommate and I buy in an ordinate amount of frozen vegetables. I no longer had room for my frozen junk food and ice packs and needed a remedy! After much research, this unit seems like the best value for the price so into the cart it went. It arrived unscathed well packaged, there was damage to the box along one corner but the freezer was packed inside in another box so it was fine. It was easy enough to plug in, though the temperature adjustment is on the back and I did not realize that until I had already pushed it against the wall in a somewhat difficult to reach place. That and the noise it makes is what earns it four stars, though I do understand that a small freezer is going to make a certain amount of noise. I've had it a month or so now and filled it up over a few weeks. No ice buildup so far, and it keeps everything frozen very well though I did have to change it to a lower temperature then the default it shipped with. I'm overall happy with the unit and if I could give it 4.5 stars I would.

Good Value for the money. I scrape the inside of ice build up approximately every three months. Keep items well frozen on setting 1.

Not too ashamed to tell you that I feed my dog a raw diet and his food was taking up way too much space in my freezer. Especially with COVID out there, I'm not making trips to the grocery store if I don't have to. That said, when I go, I try to load up. That was an issue in that there simply wasn't enough room for my dog's food and mine. I made the decision to get him his own freezer and it was a great investment. Bring on the zombie apocalypse, I've got plenty of food! One small critique: It looks like it took a bit of a beating in transport and there was a small dent on the top of it when delivered. Beyond the small aesthetic blemish, it was a great buy!

I didn’t award any stars because none of the things applied. I love this little freezer. It’s perfect for my small apartment.. It does not have a temperature control knob, but that’s not a problem because it stays at about 5°F. The two racks are removable so it will be very easy to defrost. The only thing I wish were different is the spacing I of the rods on the racks. They are too far apart, and small items tend to turn over. I solved that problem by putting some stiff plastic sheeting on the racks. This is a good value for the money. I have already recommended it to several friends.
