What I needed was Hot Melt 100 W Glue Gun. It warms up quickly, melt down the glue sticks at high temperature, and still it doesn’t drip. I bought a 2015 Subaru Outback with light hail Damage, clean title for $11000 and now I have to deal with more than 60 hail dings. This glue gun is perfect for PDR if you can control the temperature and the viscosity of the melted glue. I use different glue sticks mostly (black, green and gray) in the outdoor temperature 67 F to 72 F. If the temperature is different then the red sticks or blue sticks are more appropriate, but till now I do not need this. On sale in Amazon for around $11.Using the dimmer I can control the viscosity of the melted glue. It has to be thick enough to build a 5/32” or 4 mm thick layer on the pulling tabs. There are many factors that decide the grade of dent repair from 70 % to 95 %, and the glue temperature and viscosity is only one variable.The most important factors are the surface has to be clean, in some cases using 3M 3000 polishing compound. The ambient temperature has to be 70 F. The dents has to be detected using PDR light Board. Each dent has a crown (if symmetrical) or a crest (if asymmetrical). Without defeating the crown or crest you won’t be able to pull the dent. Using excessive force you can invert the dent creating a volcano. Dent repair means 40 % pulling and 60 % tapping. You need appropriate tools for each process.Each dent has a different personality and needs a specific strategy to be pulled.Be patient and go slow. Do not try to fix the dent with 1 or 3 pulling. Watch the videos. Start with a junk car Door or Hood. Using trial and error you will learn. In my case I started with a junk door of a BMW Z4. After I started on the roof of the Subaru. Do not try to fix the dent totally, in one attempt. If there are many dents you have to treat all in the same time. I was excited to receive my PDR glue gun, it came just in time. I had accidentally broke a plastic frame in my kitchen and was able to fix it with this glue gun. I was afraid the glue would peel after it cooled but nope. It’s perfect, it heats up a lot faster than my regular glue gun and the glue dries faster too. It came with 15 glue sticks. I’m sure my husband will be asking to use it around the house and even my son for his projects. But it may also be used for car body dent repairs which is good to know.

I don't use glue guns often but when I do there is usually little piles of dripped glue everywhere but that isn't the case with this one! It is truly a no drop nozzle. I was very surprised since every other glue gun I have owned mini and regular tends to drip so I got clever and always put a piece of paper underneath to avoid hot glue on the surface it was resting on. The gun also heats up much faster which was another pleasant surprise. Glue binds and holds bigger/hefty projects together well!

I used the product on a small but noticeable ding in my fender that was about the size of a pencil eraser. It took 4 pulls to get the ding out but it did work. I then tried to use it on a larger ding (about the size of a dime) close to my door handle and gave up after several pulls. So this product works well when the ding is away from where the metal is reinforced but doesn't work close to features such as door handles, etc.

Extremely power glue. I used it to pull out a dent in my car and I still can’t get the glue off.

I was very surprise that this product did take out the den in my car. Will buy it again if I needed too.

the glue gun appears to work okay. I don't know because the sticks that came with it are regular glue sticks. Not the super strong Auto Body sticks that is supposed to come with it. I've got two drawer full of these things. They're not strong enough to do anything to a car body. It may get to 100 degrees and it may not.

I love the product and would recommend it. It came with heavy duty glue sticks which I even used on a part that had broken when I opened my pool. It glued the piece instantly so I did not have to buy a replacement. It heats up very fast. Very efficient. I wouyld buy it again.
