Traps that work!
We raise chickens and we have a problem with rats and mice. We’ve tried all kinds of rat traps rat baits natural and organic the bucket method you name it we’ve tried it, but have been unsuccessful. Until we happen upon these rat traps. There’s a little knob underneath which you twist off And put some peanut butter on it then you put it back in and twist it on again. You close the lid till it snaps and then you place these rat traps wherever you have any kind of rat activity. We have trapped so many rats with these little traps. They are by far the best and safest, especially around chickens and other small animals. The rat walks in going after the peanut butter and the bottom trips and snaps down on the rat. It’s very safe very effective very easy to use. It’s very fast to set it. The quality of the trap is very good and the catch rate is incredible! There’s really no noise level because it usually happens at night or when we’re away from the chicken pen and the henhouse so we don’t hear it. But if we accidentally set it off, it’s a loud snap. But this one works and I highly, highly recommend this rat trap.

Works incredibly well and easy to use, but not for large rodents.
I purchased these to catch a rat that had been nesting in the hood of my car. I baited them with peanut butter and put them out by my front tires at night, then along the side of the house during the day. Unfortunately, these did not work on the rat. It interested it for sure, but the rat would spring the trap but not be caught. I suspect it was the rat, because the trap would sometimes be moved 4-6" away from the side of the house. In the meantime, however, I caught 5 mice in 5 days. Emptying this trap is so easy, I just held it over a garbage bag and pushed the pedal down on the trap. The mouse would drop out and I didn't even feel like I had to wear gloves to avoid the yuck. Same with rebaiting it, so easy. I would buy these for mice, they work excellently, and maybe for small rats. But these won't work on large rodents.

Work great for big rats
I bought a 2 pack of these after trying several other traps and the same night I set them up I caught two rat rats. For several nights in a row I caught at least 1 rat.Easy to use and you don't have to touch anything. Just pop it open and drop the rat into a bag and reset.I still wore gloves when doing this because obviously the rats walked on and touched the traps. But it's better than having to handle the rat itself when removing from the trap.None of us enjoys having to kill them but these can give you the piece of mind that they aren't suffering. They work instantly with no prolonged suffering. No danger to native wildlife. No poisons to have to worry about and no bloody messes. So far the rats seem to have taken the hint and moved on (or I have cleared them all out for now) but if they return during gardening season I will buying another 2 pack.It helps to put them into somewhat hidden spots rather than out in the open as rats are suspicious of anything new or exposed to view.I put one by a woodpile and another behind the garden shed. With 4 of them I will use the other 2 tucked around larger bushes and plants as I notice they travel certain routes to avoid the motion lights!

Effective But Needs Securing
I was looking for a replacement for an old mouse trap and decided to try this rat trap for indoor use. I bought it a few months ago, and I was pleasantly surprised that it actually worked. We caught a rat just a few days after setting it up.The trap barely caught the rat at first, but it was strong enough that the rat couldn’t escape. Just like the description said, it was easy to release the dead rat, which made cleanup simple. One issue I ran into was that the trap isn’t heavy enough to stay in place on its own. The rat ended up dragging it around the area, so I had to go look for both the trap and the rat. I ended up using Velcro to secure the trap and prevent it from moving. After that adjustment, it worked great.Overall, it’s effective and worth the buy, just make sure to secure it properly.

Easy & incredibly effective
I don’t think I’ve ever wrote a review so fast. Literally within an hour of putting out these traps, we trapped 3 voles (two in one trap even!). Another hour later, 2 more. Over night, all four traps had a critter. The only one that wasn’t fully deceased was the two for one trap. Like the directions say, just make sure you have it up against a hard surface like a wall and you should be good to go. Fantastic and easy to use!

Maximum effectiveness
This worked within hours! Be sure to place along the baseboards since thats where rodents run. Easy to set up with bait, I used peanut butter, and simple to wash, even though it was a clean kill with no gore. Design makes it impossible to trap your own fingers unless you opened it up and you're messing around in there for no reason. Very impressed.

Fine, but broke
Decent trap. Definitely does as advertised. Plastic design seems durable, but I caught one rat and the whole thing broke. Spring mechanism failed and the pieces came apart. Would buy again only if I absolutely needed to. You're better off with the old fashioned wooden ones that are a dime a dozen

Works for mice , not rats
For mice ? These are great and easy to use . For rats ? Forget it ! Rats are too dang smart and will not enter one of these . I tried for months to catch the rat living under my kitchen cabinet with these traps using all the right baits . I ended up after 4 months of effort using a very potent poison and that did kill the rat . I hated using poison . It was a last resort .
