Love this. It is a great phone. Just don't try to ask Google for directions to the nearest pizza place!
I remember what a good quality flip phone is like after using these. These are even better. They last for days and days on standby. I can hear with these - much better speakers than on my tinny smartphone. I am using these 80% of the time, especially when I don't need all the smart phone features that drain the battery. I carried these over 14 days on standby and still have a 2/3rds full battery. So I set up my smartphone to roll-over to this phone if the smartphone is turned off or the battery is dead. Now I get all my calls. Plus the range is better. My wife and I were standing outside in a back lot when she wanted to make a call. No bars with her Motorola smartphone. So I checked this flip phone. It had two bars and made the call perfectly. She liked using it so much that she had me get her another one for backup. Now she charges this flip phone twice a month and carries it in her purse also as a backup that she is using more every day. For the price and serviceability, it cannot be beat. If you want to continue on the sprint network, check out Ting.com to save money with great service. It only costs $6 a month to add another phone like this, so why not have several backups ready to go.

Puts the flip back on the hip.
The belt clip I received seems made of plastic with a soft to the touch rubber coating. It holds the DuraXT very securely in the cradle and doesn't seem much different from the old nextel/Motorola iden flip and clip, although it is larger than the old i580. The clip I suspect will be the downfall. The spring is made of a bent piece of maybe 3/8" wide steel held in place by plastic tits. The hinge pins are also plastic. The clip does ratchet to turn your phone 90 degrees in either direction from the cradle. I could do without this feature in favor of a more compact unit. With the included data cable, which works great, transferring data between the computer was very easy once I set the phone to connect in the TOOLS/MEMORY STORAGE/CONNECT TO PC section of the phone menu. My XP PC recognized the phone as a separate drive letter which makes transferring data simple. I'm happy for now, I got this phone outta my pocket.

Secure flip phone
I kid about my geezer phone but I have friends that work Border Patrol (mounted on horse or 4-wheeler or car and foot) and they had given up on smart phones.. They break or get lost. My latest is a Sprint Kyocera is thicker as it includes a camera (but I don't tell people it has that or text either) so the old pouch no longer fit. This is a clip on with positive engagement to hold it in but faster to get it out and in use than a pouch. I am happy

I use this clip daily for work. It's been about a month since I replaced my old clip (of a different style) that broke at the top. It's fairly easy to pop the phone in-out and I've had my phone accidentally pop out a maybe a 2-3 times in the past month when I hit my side against something the wrong way. I can still feel the vibration of the phone through the clip pretty well. Although I wear my pants tight so I imagine that has an impact. Overall, this clip works well. I'm looking forward to see how long it lasts.

Nothing to write home about!
There aren't a lot of choices out there for this model phone yet, so I was limited on what to buy. I took a chance on this one. It is really flemsy and doesn't hold the phone very well. Not very well made. The phone doesn't snap into the clip. You have to put it in the holder and then move the top piece down over the top of the phone to secure it. I gave it 3 stars simply because it is a phone clip for this phone, it does hold it, and there isn't many other choices out there. My advice: Just put the phone in your pocket and save your money.

Excellent holster for this specific flip phone
Excellent design and function for this very specific phone. Cheap price; excellent design, durability and functionality. I accidentally broke the clip getting in my car by catching it on seatbelt holder. Fixed by re-drilling with a 1/16" bit and an eye glasses-sized screw - works like new. Will probably order an extra one in case I break it again - no reflection on the original durability of the holster,

It Performs Adequately
This clip is adequate, but it completely covers the phone speaker, thereby muffling the sound in noisy environments. Moreover, this product lacks the ability to pivot upside-down, which is a must if one chooses to wear it vertically. Overall, it performs well for the task it is intended: securing a phone to a belt. It is not too bulky, and the retention portion folds sufficiently to prevent slippage.

Good Case, but Weak Clip
This case is very sturdy, holds the phone securely, and allows easy and quick access, but it is bulky, and the belt clip had become loose after a few months of use. This cased the case with the phone to fall down a few times, but the phone was not damaged. Now it's become a hassle to constantly verify how secure the clip is attached to the belt.
