Finally an adapter that works. This adapter fits my old school style and doesn't punish me for usually forgetting to charge up the wireless earbuds bluetooth or headset before I go to sleep I've sent for several other charger/headphone combos from other third-party companies and they did not work. I'm so glad that I can simple plug ithis device in and takes care of both functions of charging and listening. I just ordered 2 more!!

I'm not sure why the review is listed for a different random product, but I will post this here. I'm reviewing the Lightning Jack Adaptor lightning to 3.5mm earphone splitter. The product looks fine. After setting it up according to instructions I found the following: The controls for my Bose noise reduction earbuds don't work. There are intermittent crackles in the sound. To top it off, calls don't go through from my Iphone X to my earbuds. The only thing that this is good for is listening to music without being able to change volume while charging the phone.

I bought 3 of these and they do what they are supposed to, just not very well. I can hear clicking (like we used to be able to hear 3g data on speakers (if anyone remembers that)... it sounds like 'data' transmitting. It comes and goes. That's annoying. Also, the volume doesn't work, but stopping/skipping does (through the Apple earbuds. Lastly, the volume doesn't go as low as the original Apple adaper allows. Annoying also. But in BASIC functionality, it does what it says it does.

I thought I'd got these to enable me to charge my ipad at the same time as inputting a thumb drive... but it is simply for headphones to work while charging in same port.

The adapter works great only thing you can’t use the headphones to increase and decrease volume but that doesn’t bother me. Best product for the price and it’s function

Read the product description closely. Most earbud/headphones will not work without an adaptor. Also, intermittently, after being connected for a time, the phone doesn't charge and I get a strange message on my phone that "the device isn't supported". I have an iPhone X. The headline product description says it's for the X, but further description doesn't mention the X. Very confusing.

I’d give it zero stars if I could. Followed their directions and it wouldn’t work. No sound at all. Immediately after the microphone on my iphone7 completely stopped working all together. We did everything to correct it including a wipe of the phone and a restore without loading the old information. Took it to the apple store and they said the microphone was fried. As there is no way to unequivocaly prove this device was the cause, we have no recourse. Just a coinsidence? I don’t think so.

is it dumb that we need a dongle for everything, yes, but we are where we are and this gets the job done, charge and listen to audio at the same time. i keep this kind at the house and i have a different kind that also works very good with me in the car.
