Excellent diaper detergent
I've used this for all my brands of cloth diapers, and frequently use it on the rest of my baby's laundry as well. I used it for over 6 months and for some of that time I would have given it 5 stars. Here are the pluses:1. It is very well rated on Pinstripes and Polkadots' list of diaper-safe detergents [UPDATE--I don't know for sure if this list is recommended as a resource anymore]2. I find that it gets stains out pretty well, especially when combined with Biokleen BacOut (see UPDATE below)3. It rinses cleanly and I haven't experienced any build-up issues, even using a HE front-loader4. It has no scent, which I prefer for my baby5. Even though it's expensive, the box seems to go a VERY long wayNow for the only minus I've found so far (hence the star deduction):I've started to notice some ammonia stink on my microfiber diaper inserts (only the MF, though, not the natural fiber). Of course this is always a risk with MF and I'll be taking steps to combat it. I just wanted to be clear that although a great detergent, there are still factors to consider when choosing.[UPDATE MARCH 2014]I've now tried a few other detergents and washing routines. FIRST--BacOut turned out to be very harsh and was causing my natural-fiber inserts to wear very quickly. I still use it once in a while for stains on diaper covers, but then I rinse separately. SECOND--Tiny Bubbles is still a very good option, but my local CD store told me that some other detergents use the same ingredients. I looked it up and found that Country Save is the same ingredients, in the same order, and it's cheaper. So I've switched to that for CD laundry. THIRD--as my son got bigger and started more solid foods, the poops make worse stains now. Neither TB nor CS have done a great job on those stains, but I'm not fussy about that part as long as they smell clean.

Worked well for a while...
(see update below) I had been using BioKleen liquid detergent for our cloth diapers, but I could only buy it in massive quantities through Amazon Prime, so I decided to pass this time. I read lots of reviews on similar products, and went with Tiny Bubbles. Price per load is good, and I could get it with the Prime shipping. Our cloth diapers have come out just as clean and "clean-smelling" as with the other product, so no complaints from me. The other nice thing about powder is it's easier to pack a little ziploc to take with you when traveling, which swayed me from a liquid as well. When we run out of our other 'regular' detergent we're going to use this exclusively for all of our clothes, not just diapers.**Update: I wrote this review less than 14 days ago, after using the detergent for about one month; ironically, both my husband and I noticed our diaper loads lately have increasingly smelled like ammonia. This has been a recent development, but we used biokleen for over 8 months without ever noticing anything but "clean". I'm going to buy more BioKleen tomorrow and reserve Tiny Bubbles for our clothes.

Is this really for HE machines? Lots of bubbles!!
I've only used this detergent on my diapers. Been using it for the last 4-5 months. I have soft water and a very large HE front loader. I wash Grovia soakers, a few pocket diapers, cloth wipes, and lots of flats every 2 days for my 7 mo baby. I initially had stinky, ammonia diapers despite two wash cycles on hot. I had to increase the amount of detergent to 1.5 scoops and add water through the detergent drawer for my diapers to become clean with only one wash cycle. My issue is there are TONS OF BUBBLES with this detergent. HE detergents normally make no suds bc the bubbles can cause problems with the HE washers--smelly washers and I'm not sure what other problems. I bought two boxes. One lasted about 4 months. I'll probably try another detergent soon bc I have few "diaper-safe" detergents i can buy here in Hawaii and I have to get it online.Three stars: one ding for excessive bubbles; another star off for needing more detergent than advertised.

Not Recommended
I used this item when I first started cloth diapering my baby. I used it because of the reviews and recommendations for cloth diapers. I wasn't satisfied with the item because my diapers and clothes were still dingy. I understand that they aren't going to look like clothes washed in Tide or other name brand detergents but I didn't feel that the dirt and grime were getting removed from my diapers and clothes. I have found other detergents that are eco and cloth diaper friendly that remove dirt much better. Also, the packaging isn't the best. While being shipped, the soap comes out of the box and is in the plastic wrap, meaning you have a small amount of detergent lost and then it gets stuck on the folds of the cardboard. I used 3 boxes before I switched, giving it a lot of time to work.

Not so clean
I switched to this detergent after having some leaking issues with my daughters cloth diapers (BumGenius and Fuzzibunz). My leaking issue went away (started double stuffing), but now they smell. I have to do two wash cycles (I do a pre-wash before using detergent and both wash cycles with an extra rinse) with this detergent to get the smell out. So I only get 30 loads out of this box. I wouldn't mind this so much, but my daughter now develops diaper rash every time I put a cloth diaper on her. I'm not sure if it's something in this detergent or if the diapers are not getting clean. So I'll be stripping my diapers once again and finding a new detergent.

good alternative
I've used Method Baby Squeaky Green Laundry detergent + the fabric softener, since my son was born. I was really disappointed when I went to buy more this past week and couldn't find it, anywhere. It seems to be discontinued. So I gave this a try and I really like it. It doesn't leave everything quite as soft as the Method Baby and I preferred the smell of Method Baby, but it's good. Like other reviewers, I use it for Fuzzi Bunz cloth diapers, as well as my son's clothes & my delicates. I wish they made a fabric softener to go with it.
