Nice Product just pay attention to bolt pattern
This fit perfectly on my 2006 TJ. It gave more than enough distancefor my 33 IN Tires to fit so the door can open freely. The only thing I had to do is modifythe stock rear brake light with spacers and new bolts to clear the tire. This bracket is strongand well built. This should work great for a long time.

Solid construction
Easy to install, use washers to seat studs. Bolt on to factory carrier. Torque down then mount spare. Big tires will need 3rd brake extension.Feels solid even with weight.

Built well.
Had a little trouble setting the studs in the bracket. Overall it offset for my deeper rims and tire perfectly!

Would not reccomend this product
The product arrived with the paint chipped up and damaged. No problem I touched it up, it will stay out of site behind the spare. Next issue was you have to install the lug studs in it because it does fit several wheel patterns. The way its made there is no real access to drive it into place with a hammer, and I don't own a press to where I could rig something to press them in, so I had to use one of the nuts that came with the product to pull the studs into place. Started them all by hand, then drew them up with my Milwaukee Impact. 2 of the 3 no issues. The third must have either had some type of damage to the threads on the stud because the nut would not back off. Had to break off the grinder, cut the stud off, sand and paint the piece again, order another stud, and repeat the process to get it installed. This would be fantastic if a man had two weeks to install a spare tire spacer, but being that I was trying to get it done in a Saturday afternoon......needless to say it didn't quite work out that way. Maybe it was just a fluke that I had bad luck and every other one made and sold will work out perfect, but I didn't have any such luck. Just thought you should know what ya might be getting yourselves into and good luck. I wouldn't buy it again for sure.

Perfect fit
I recently upgraded my tire size and found the larger tire wouldn’t not fit as a spare on my 1991 Jeep Wrangler (YJ) Sahara. I figured I would have to buy a new rear bumper to accommodate the tire but at $300-$400 for a new bumper I searched for an alternate solution. I found this spacer and gave it a shot. It fit perfect. It’s sturdy and solved my problem.

Stud spins
Appears well constructed. Heavier than expected. Successfully installed the top 2 studs with 3/4”wrench. Got the bottom stud partially seated and it began to spin. Could probably make it work but might not be able to get spare tire off when needed. Requested a replacement. Will update with results in a few days.06/04/2025 UpdateReceived replacement part. I installed all of the studs this time leaving a slight gap and not fully seating them. I think the holes are drilled too big as the studs go in way too easy. Time will tell if I having trouble getting the spare off in the future. Upped review from 1 star to 3 stars.

Resolved the issue of the taller tires interfering between the door and bumper
When I swapped the stock TJ sport wheels & tires with some 33 inch tires the door wouldn't really close anymore because the spare was hitting the bumper. This spacer raised the spare up and pushed it out away from the door the perfect amount to make it all work.
