Rather flimsy
Took a while to be delivered. Well packaged. The base section is just pressed metal with four 'feet' which are a bit flimsy. The tray sits inside of the base. The birds don't like trying to get a foothold on the side of the tray, so it tends to be left to the pigeons who can stand on the shed roof, where it is sited, and lean over the edge. Size-wise it is acceptable, and it was reasonably priced. There are better trays out there.

Keeps the patio clean
The Blackbirds soon found their mealworms in this dish. It is easy to remove the sieve like top and rinse it clean. I have put a plastic lid off a tub of sweets under the feeder and it keeps all the bits of suet and fat balls from marking the natural stone slabs of the patio

The birds like it, so that’s the main thing!
It’s a bugger to clean (requires a great deal scrubbing if you happen to use a wheaty bird food and it rains) but the birds seem to appreciate it.

Bought this as we live in the country, it is ideal for pheasants, as obviously they cant reach higher feeders. I would recommend it to anyone.

Strong and durable.
Perfect ground feeder.Just ordered two more. I dread to think how much more I will spend on wildbird food. 😬 I am an avid blackbird lover and they use them all the time. As do all the other larger birds. Even our local pheasant and his girls visit the tray every day. I have hanging trays for the little birds. Also very useful for our hens’ grit. Highly recommended. Much better than the wooden ground feeders which don’t seem to last long.

It's a bird feeder.
Not much to say. It's a bird feeder and birds feed from it.It's strong. Water drains through. Birds have no problem feeding.

WELL MADE ROUND METALISED ALL BLACK GROUND MESH FEEDER, EASY-CLEAN
Does not look like the product I had wanted & ordered, (i.e. it is entirely black) but is well made & easy to clean/maintain. I misread the info & believed I was buying a water bowl! Alas there isn't a matching water bowl, but maybe next year..... Arrived next morning & my birds took to it immediately, so I do recommend. I like it because it is a neat size & of course movable.

Simple and effective product
Simple and effective design. Not particularly ornate or pretty to look at however. Fair price when compared to other similar products. Only gave 3 star review due to product taking far too long to arrive
