Mr Freeze To The Rescue
One of the best purchases ever! I did a preemptive strike against Summer this year, and bought this unit. Our living room windows face South and act like radiators in sunny weather, making the room 30°C or higher, which is quite uncomfortable. Not this time! After working all day in a hot kitchen, I was coming home and firing up Mr Freeze, as I call it. It was instantly a pleasant feeling of a strong fan, followed by a cooling breeze, with the temperature dropping from 29 to 24 in minutes. My partner was constantly asking me to turn it off because she felt cold lol.I bought a window sealing kit, which looks like shower curtain material and tapes around the window (we have windows that open outwards vertically), so I could have the exhaust pipe out the window with the material making a seal. The remote control buttons all do their jobs, including selecting the fan speed, mode etc, so not sure what other reviews dissing the remote are about.I posted on FB about my purchase, and a friend asked me about it, asking whether it was good enough to turn his living room from a hell on Earth lol. He bought one, this model, and was as happy as I am.They aren't excessively noisy, but a lot more louder than a desk fan on high, which is to be expected. We have to turn the TV up a bit, but not majorly. And there's always subtitles if it's very late lol.We only use ours for cooling, we won't be using the dehumidifier. We have a dedicated one of those anyway. But I can honestly say that the long streak of very warm days this Summer (and late Spring) hasn't bothered us at all. I wish I had bought one years ago, but in the UK we just suffer, because we don't have aircon like in the US. That's why these mobile units are expensive. It works with Alexa, but there's not a great deal you can do. You can set up a mode with a temperature setting, and Alexa will activate it. For example if you make a routine that is triggered when you say "Chill the room", you can set the parameters of mode, fan speed, and the temperature to reach. Mine is set to cooling mode, fan speed high, 22°C. Also, if you ask Alexa what the temperature of the living room is (or whatever room you have told Alexa where the unit is) she will tell you what the sensor says on the aircon unit. Obviously you can also ask Alexa to turn the unit off.The 'Smart Home' app is actually quite good too. If there's one negative thing to say, it's that upon reaching the target temperature, the cooling circuits turn off and leave just the fan on. It's still blowing a good strong breeze, but I wish the unit could turn off completely after reaching the target temperature.Power consumption wise, it was using around 23 to 25 pence an hour. We only had it on for an hour or 2 after work, and for longer periods during the weekend. But if I was melting in my living room and feeling drowsy and weak from the heat, I would have gladly paid a wizard to cast a chill spell and make my room like a warm fridge lol.You know when you are out and about, and it's extremely hot, and you walk into a public place such as a supermarket with aircon, and it feels beautiful, like you have stepped inside a fridge... that was our living room in the recent hot weather. This unit is cheaper than some others, yet also more costly than some, but the price was nice, and it does the job very well.

Small, tidy Aircon. Would recommend.
The media could not be loaded. Had this for a few hours so far, working well.It is a little noisier than expected, very compact and and I’d say it’s great value for money, the accessories included are excellent in quality, easy to setup, I felt as though I was made to believe it auto swings, but it doesn’t. The cooling it supplies is very good, overall a happy purchase, would recommend.

Excellent Portable AC – Powerful, Quiet & Smart!
The media could not be loaded. I’m really impressed with the COMFEE’ 7000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner. It cools my room (around 20–25m²) very quickly, even on hot summer days. The app control is super convenient—I can turn it on remotely before I get home, and the settings are very intuitive. It also works well as a dehumidifier, and the fan mode is great when I just want some air circulation without cooling. The included remote control and window installation kit made setup quick and hassle-free. It’s not too loud either, which is a huge plus when sleeping or working. The 24-hour timer function is great for energy saving and comfort. Overall, this unit is compact, stylish, and very efficient. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a reliable and smart portable air conditioner!

Not Worth the Hype. Major Letdowns from Comfee AC
I was really disappointed with the Comfee portable air conditioner. While the specs looked promising, the reality didn’t live up to expectations. The cooling power is weak — it struggles even in a small room. And the noise? Constant and disruptive, making it hard to relax or concentrate. One of the most frustrating issues is the exhaust hose: it’s far too short, which severely limits where you can place the unit. To make matters worse, it doesn’t come with a proper window seal kit, so hot air seeps back in, completely undermining the cooling process. The hose connection also feels flimsy, and the unit seems to draw a lot of power without delivering meaningful results. Given the price, I expected much better. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this model to anyone looking for effective relief during the summer.

The best money I’ve ever spent
The best money I’ve ever spent . The 7000 does one room perfectly . If you shut the door on 16 degrees it’s freezing. It’s a little loud but I haven’t struggled to sleep. It’s absolutely fantastic for these hot days in the UK. Throughly recommend to anyone. It’s heavy. It’s big but not huge . We will buy another for the living room maybe the 9000 so it maybe gets to more of the floor . It’s works easy with the app and easy to set up

Not impressed with the 7000 BTU model
I use my third bedroom as a computer room. It's a very small room. I used an air conditioner that didn't condense the moisture out of the exhaust, and it constantly needed emptying. So I bought this instead. Being a small room, I thought that the 7000 BTU model would be fine. I was wrong. If blows out cold air (I measured the temperature) and it's fine as long as I'm sitting in a direct line with the airflow. But it just doesn't make the tiny room cool, and I don't understand it. The room ccols down V-E-R-Y slowly (hours) but never manages to get below 23 degrees when it starts at 25-27 degrees. I assume that it would if I left it on long enough. It's so bad that my app suggested that something was wrong because the room wasn't being cooled even though the air conditioner was on. Would I buy again? Obviously not, if I chose this air conditioner I'd go for the more powerful one.
