I purchased the Artis 1000VA UPS in July 2022, and it functioned flawlessly until recently. Although I encountered an issue 10 days ago where the UPS would shut down during power outages, the Artis customer care team responded promptly and guided me to visit their service center. Since the warranty period had expired, I replaced the batteries at my own cost. I'm pleased to report that the UPS is now working smoothly again. Overall, I'm satisfied with the product's performance and the customer support provided by Artis. I would recommend their products to others.

TBH in the 3rd month since purchase, I’m noticing issues with backup. For the first 2 months, it surprised me with backup of more than 1 hr. As time past by, I noticed it’s giving backup of just 25 mins. This is madness knowing that it hold huge capacity and power. Well I use a 22” AOC monitor, WiFi router and sometimes laptop when there is power outage and ups does it’s job. If there are any further issues in the very next month, then sure it calls for a warranty at home.

VFM Bought Aug 2022 Used for 3 years, at initial months the backup was so good, almost 24-36 hours if used only for WiFi router! This inverter has served me well during December cyclone powercuts in Chennai, we were able to charge the mobiles during crisis situation! During Jan 2025 the battery has degraded so much, but I was able replace the battery from local shops! Bought 2x 12V Amaron battery costed about Rs.2200 after giving away old battery to battery shop, this inverter again became VFM. Recommended buy! Hardware didn’t fail! Circuit still works!

It has barely been 5 days as of writing this product review and, as many others have also mentioned, I am suffering from random erratic shut offs even when main power is available and unit is receiving power. The ups unit randomly starts to make continuous beep sounds and then it shuts off after a while if I don't do anything. From what I can gather this early, i assume it is due to the unit not actually being able to provide backup to the advertised specs because of some fundamental design flaw. Because before this I used apc 1000br for 3 years, which even works today but the battery is dead. So I wanted a temporary cheap replacement until I can get a proper inverter system for the pc. I have never faced such an odd failure. As for the symtoms, I bought the 1000va/600w version as my pc and peripherals can reach almost 500w under heavy load. But it never crosses it. So when the issue arises, if I let things play out the ups shuts off. If I turn off main power the ups also shuts with red light. As if the battery can't provide sufficient load(same thing happenes with the apc whos battery is dead, so given). But if i stop heavy load from the pc the beeping stops and even goes to normal. I can also turn off main power now and get backup time. But then again, if I resume heavy load the issue comes back again. Would recommend looking into a proper inverter solution. Ups are just too hassle and zero customer support from all manufacturers, even apc.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Does the job well! I’ve been using this Artis UPS for my desktop and WiFi router, and it works just as I expected. During power cuts, it gives me enough backup time (around 10 minutes) to save my work and shut things down safely. The green light and beeping alerts are simple and easy to understand. It’s compact, not noisy, and feels sturdy. Of course, it won’t run your PC for hours, but for short outages and protection, it’s more than enough. Definitely good value for money if you just need peace of mind against sudden power cuts.

I am posting this review after 2 years of use. The product is good and does the job. It can only be used for 2 - 3 years. Battery will give in exactly towards the end of 2 years. Luckily, for me the batteries gave in at 18months, within the warranty period. The replacement batteries at the service center are probably revived/recycled used batteries. Because after the replacement within 2 months the batteries gave in again. So there is no assurance of getting the original backup time with the batteries replaced at service center under warranty. You will have to get new batteries from a battery vendor in your area whome you trust and you are sure that he is not selling you a recycled battery. Better get it through a trusted electrician or a mechanic who know the in and out of the battery supplier and if that electrician/macanic is your friend then you can even get the mechanic discount on the battery price. With new off the shelf batteries, the UPS backup time will go back to normal. The electronics is reliable. Battery is a consumable so the backup time will depend on the quality of the battery that you use in the UPS.

Good product back-up is very good you will get around 30min to 2 hours based on load. If your using laptop and monitor then you will get 45min to 1.5hours back-up

It’s able to hold the load of my PS5 Pro (Imported from UK) along with my 4k Samsung monitor for 2 minutes max, just enough time to turn off the Pro safely. Worth 4.8K Rs on sale.
