Graceling Realm Series - 3 Volume Set - Graceling, Fire, Bitterblue Hardcover

I read these books after a friend recommended them and was enthralled. I had stopped giving books to my teenage granddaughter because I either gave her books that she wasn't interested in or she had already read them. These hit the sweet spot; she hadn't read them and, when she did, she loved them. Yay grandma!

Yikes. I bought this set as a gift to a friend because I love this series so much. Yet - they didn’t include Graceling and sent me two Fire’s instead. Bummer.

Even though it's more expensive than the paperback versions, I'm absolutely thrilled to have these copies. The quality of the paper and the cover and even the font of the text is awesome. I read these books every 4 months and never get bored. The emotional parts always get me!What I like most about the story though (No Spoilers!) is that it's not your typical fantasy. There are no dwarves or elves or typical fantasy creatures one would expect, but there are other beings that are as wonderful as any other. The prose is without comparison, a beautiful weaving of words, yet simple and funny at times. A must read for anyone, and this Set is highly reccomended. Good quality writing and binding!

The Graceling book came as a paperback copy, but with a quick call to customer service, everything was sorted out. Three hard cover books in great shape for a great price.

Favorite books of all time

Gift to my granddaughter who reads voraciously!

Though the books were in the condition that was described, I was under the impression I was getting THREE (3) hardcover books. I only got two (Graceling and Bitterblue). Fire came in paperback. No wonder the price was so good.

The media could not be loaded.  I was planning on giving this as a gift for a friend and was hoping for the black covers with the gold imagery on it. And it only advertises as the black covers with the gold not the one in the picture and video I have of the books. Their not ugly I’m just disappointed that I didn’t get what was shown. I got them today so hopefully my friend still likes them and I won’t be having to do a Amazon return….

First of all, these novels are amazing. No matter how many times I've read them, they always draw me and I struggle to put them down until I've finished them. The stories are fascinating, emotional and hard-hitting. I love how each book is dedicated to a different character with her own, completely different voice and storyline, but they are also deeply interconnected. What I was disappointed with was the quality of the physical books themselves. I'd previously borrowed all 3 books from the library, but these were smaller, flimsier, and the paper thinner than what I had expected. The font size was fine, and I stopped noticing the paper quality after a while because the stories were so good.

Great books well written. Holds the attention.

The story is gripping and from the first sentence you want to know what’s going to happen next. The story is intriguing and the world that’s been built has some silly names but that’s not important. The body of the story is grand. It’s a very fast paced story and moves from one day or one week to the next but is easy to keep up and is somewhat more believable time wise in comparison to other stories where everything happens within a matter of weeks!Bitter blue is somewhat frustrating as there is a puzzle to solve but the more answers you get results in 10 more questions and the revelations are quite obviousLike the people who are obviously villains turn out to be villains! Apart from that it is a brilliant read and I do genuinely highly recommend!
