I believe that it should be refrigerated after it is open. it should be on the label somewhere. hope this helps

I've had mine in the fridge for a few months. I'll keep it there and watch for signs of it going bad like a change in smell, color, taste, or seeing mold growing. I'm sure you can freeze it for a very long time.

Q: Another person asked about what pepper is used. The Amazon description says calabrian, but the label does not. Are the peppers calabrian, or not?

Calabria is a region, not really a type of pepper. These appear to be hot chilis from Calabria. There is a photo included that shows the side label where they do say these are Calabrian chilis.
