I really can not describe how great this item is... I am 38 years old 5'11 270 pounds, I have a herniated disk and my 5th lumbar is off. I could barley sleep after Cleaning my mother's 1 bed apt, and I could rest and sit as long as I needed.. I have now gotten a job as a mechanic AND ALL day I'm changing tires,oils changes etc.. With this back brace on, I have 0 percent the pain I did just cleaning my mother's apt. With way more physical work involved 100times more. Now occasionally I get the siatic nerve pain in the right or left buttocks. But it doesn't last very long. I can not believe, how this works. It's literally like I have a repaired back during the time I wear this. Mind you I have a big belly as well, and the 'XL' size fits perfect in case some one with my height and or similar weight is wondering how this will work or sizing. The 2xl was to big, I had to sent it back, but I had both sizes to try on. And the XL is perfect for my height and weight. Best back brace I've ever tried on. O ya I've been working 10 hour days 2 days straight since this post. 0 back pain!

I have a mixture of compressed and bulging discs from L1- S1 and a hemangioma on L2, and I spent an entire day barely able to stand upright and walk. I purchased this brace, looking for instant relief after another flare-up of lower back pain from daily living. I ordered this brace on day 2 of the episode and received it on day 3. I had been using my tens unit, doing what stretches I could handle, walking around the house, and resting to work through the issues as normal. By the time I received the brace, I was still very tender, tight, and sore. I immediately put it to use. It wasn't a miracle, but it did provide much-needed relief! I felt relief instantly in the upper glutes and was able to stand without feeling unstable. I've been wearing it for 3 days, on and off throughout the day, and I'm pleased enough with it to have purchased a second one to make sure I have one with me at all times. I'm 5ft 8in tall and weigh 149 lbs, and I purchased the SM/MD This fits well and adjusts comfortably. I have been wearing this while walking around, sitting, reclining, and standing. The lumbar plate is solid and sturdy, so make sure it is centered on your spine before the final adjustment. Do not fudge your size! Purchase too small, and this may not be comfortable; purchase too big, and you won't get the support you need.

My husband pulled a muscle in his back. This brace was perfect for giving him exactly the right amount of support he needed while it healed. It stayed put while he was out doing work in the yard. And it wasn't overly hot or uncomfortable
