I was sure to soak them in distilled water once received and planted them in a garden bed the same day. Over the next weeks the leaves all dried out and the rest of the plant seemed to die back. If I had to do it again I would probably buy an already established plant rather than these small plugs. You will likely have a better survivability rate with a larger plant or just purchasing from a local nursery. Edit 1: A solid month later, afterall 4 plants died back, they survived and are regrowing. Changed my rating to reflect this. Edit 2: planted in June 2020 and new canes are finally emerging for all 4 plants. The roots must have been growing all last year because there wasn't much growth until March of 2021. Now that it's growing it's growing like mad! Review: Yummy - Boysenberry bush yields lots of berries. - After growing for two years the third year the bush measures 5 ft in diameter by 5 ft tall and produced about 2 litres of berries -- yum. Be sure to let the berries ripen by turning from green to red to a final deep purple then pick and taste. Just like grandma had on long island new york growing along the back yard. We are here in Missouri and boysenberries grow here as well.

Healthy little plants
Arrived quickly. I ordered these on the 12 and got them on the 17th. They shipped from Florida to me in Maryland. They look healthy. The soil was still moist. Two fell out of their plastic things but were still in the cling wrap. Those two were a little bent but I expect them to be fine. I potted them for now and plan to put them in the garden when they get bigger. They came with labels.

Healthy little plants
I received these on Friday July 24th. We left that morning for vacation, I was not expecting them that early. My neighbor took the package off of my porch on Saturday and kept it in her living room until Monday. I am in California and it was hot on Friday and Saturday. I put them in the fridge over night and planted 2 of them on Tuesday the 28th, I planted the other 2 yesterday. They are all doing well, including the one that only has a stem left, thanks to our cat! I will update if anything changes.

My Boysenberry Plants
The most important thing here is they arrived alive and intact. They are growing in my greenhouse right now and appear to be doing well. I hope I get some good growth this year and through the winter in the greenhouse. The goal is to have four large Boysenberry bushes producing bunches of fruit in a year or maybe two. The small plants came delivered nicely packaged, moist, dark green, and firm to the touch. Thank you, B-
