Nice kit, good value
I was more impressed with this ID badge holder kit than I expected to be. First off, the cat pattern is colorful and very cute.The badge holder really impressed me—it's made of sturdy plastic, molded in two halves with a sliding joint that locks them together after you insert your badge. It also has a clear window.The lanyard is made of sturdy but soft material, about an inch wide, and features the same cool-looking cat pattern. I should note that it does not have a breakaway joint, so if that’s a safety concern for you, be aware of that.The reel has a firm hook as well as an equally sturdy belt clip for attachment. The extendable cord extends to about 18 inches and retracts smoothly.Considering everything you get, I’d say this set is a great value, and I’d give it full stars.

The clasp on the lanyard broke within a week.

It chips VERY easily
First off, I don’t think this is sealed in any way because it chips so effortlessly. Secondly, it looks like ai generated art (yuck, hopefully not). Thirdly; the only reason I’m giving this two stars instead of one, is because my Mom likes it.

It has a clip and a safety cord to attach your item to.My employer does not allow outside badge holders, so I have not used the actual holder outside yet. It seems well made and envelopes the badge. When attached to the reel or lanyard the open edge is clipped closed.
