Finally found a starter that is working well. Followed all the directions and will be making my first loaf today!

It worked! Tried multiple times to make a starter from scratch and for whatever reason couldn’t get it to work. This worked like a charm! Was ready to go in just a few days as apposed to a week or longer. So excited to make my first loaf of sourdough!

I’ve been a sourdough baker for a couple of years now. Unfortunately, I had some life events keep me from keeping my own starter active so I figured I’d give this one a try. It wouldn’t double in size, wasn’t getting active despite following directions to a T, then when that didn’t work I went back to trying my own ratios to try to revive the starter, that didn’t work either. I would not recommend this starter, unfortunately. Back to square 1z

Love love love so easy to kick up and hell I was able to make doe in 3 days! So light and fluffy not like the others.

It was no movement for a probably three days, but then suddenly after one night it doubled in size.

This works, but you have to be patient that by step 3 (3rd day) that may be no activity at all. I was able to get an active starter by step 4. Be patient and it will work, but first 3 days made me doubt the effectiveness. Compared to another starter that worked after 24 hours, you experience may vary.

Very happy with how my starter turned out! I’m a few weeks in and just in maintenance at this point. The instructions were very clear and helpful.
