So far this stuff works good for airlines to keep the heat away

Look, when you need this stuff, it's worth the price. It works, and does the job of protecting the wires or hoses it's supposed to. I think it's a bit expensive, but you buy this for reliable protection, and that's what you get. Sure, there are off brand stuff similar, but I paid for the peace of mind DEI provides. Used to protect 1/0 starter cable on my LS truck motor from header heat.

I used this heat sleeve to cover metal fuel line in my classic car that was having some vapor lock issues. This along with some custom-made shields for the fuel pump seem to fix my issue. Great product and brand-name, would buy again if needed.

Lo compre para proteger mis magueras del radiador. Ha calzado perfectamente y hasta el momento no tengo ninguna observacion (No puedo decir nada acerca su durabilidad porque recien lo he instalado). Que pase unos 6 meses y volveré a mi reseña (bajando o subiendo las estrellas de acuerdo a como va).

Using for fuel line near transmission tunnel. Works as advertised.

I used this on the wires that go to the starter on a 2008 Jeep Wrangler. The insulation on the wire that energizes the starter solenoid had melted even with the factory starter heat shield in place. This Jeep has a design problem because the catalytic converters are very close to the starter. This heat shield work great for this application and solved the problem.

Excellent heat wrap. Just wear thick gloves the fibers get stuck in your hands

Used to keep parts of a wiring harness and fuel lines protected in high temperature areas. Works as it should and easy enough to work with.

This stuff worked great to protect my vgt wiring for my turbo. This accidentally fell onto my turbo down pipe and saved me breaking down 6 hours from home. It did its job to a T.
