Great product
I thought this worked really well for my bar soap. I liked how good do quality it was and how well it kept the soap dry. This is a nice addition to my toiletries bag for traveling since it makes it easy to bring bar soap.

No frills, but they work as they should
I bought two of these soap boxes to keep my natural soaps in. Natural soaps tend to be bulky and most soap boxes do not accommodate them. My soaps measure a little over an inch tall and 3.5" long. These boxes fit them with room to spare. There's nothing fancy about them visually or functionally, but they're roomy, durable, and work as expected. The lids of the soap boxes, which are attached, are dome-shaped (allowing for more space inside) and snap shut. Once the lids are snapped shut, they stay shut, so no worries about the lid randomly popping open if you need to travel with these. A few things to note: There are no holes in these soap boxes, so there is no way to drain off water that collects in them beyond pouring the water out. It's also worth mentioning that the soaps do have a tendency to get stuck to the soap boxes if the soaps are wet or very damp, although I've not found it to be a hassle to "un-stick" them when this happens.I will be purchasing these again should there ever be a need, but these are so well-built that I can't see there being a need anytime soon.

Nice Soap Box
Standard soap dish. Seems like it will hold up well. Not cheap thin plastic. Sturdy and locks well. I bought an oversized soap bar and it was too tall to close the lid for the first week or so, but fit fine after some use.

From "Soap Box" to "Travel Soap Box"?
Perhaps the quality improved from when I first bought this soap box in October 2016 (for $4) but it was originally just called “Soap Box” and not “American Comb Travel Soap Box with lid - Clear White - Perfect for Traveling, Gym, or Storage. Made in The USA.” Nonetheless I think mine has lasted me to this day only because I just use it at home and treat it gently. It has its merits but as detailed below, you get what you pay for.Personal pros:-Nice shape and inner tabs that fit a variety of soaps and allows you to easily retrieve the contents.-Clear body makes it easy to see the soap and how much is remaining.-Latch audibly snaps ensuring that it is properly closed and is easy to reopen with the push of a well-placed thumb.Personal cons:-Should be handled with care; my box looks similarly fragile to other soap boxes, in that it looks like one bad fall will easily crack and/or break something off.-No inner drainage spouts, but retrieving the soap and cleaning out the inside is easy enough. While this box is labeled for travel it would probably be best suited for light travel such as to school, the gym etc. as it is fragile and should be stabilized as much as possible. I cannot see it easily surviving a state or even out-of-country trip and would instead advise buying a case of tougher material, such as bamboo or even metal with softer edges. Still, it does the job at home and that alone justifies the price for me. Clear, spacious, easy to open/close but fragile with no drainage spouts, I give this soap box a serviceable 3/5!
