Very helpful
Nobody in our family knew how to play the harmonica so this video was quite helpful. It was far better than trying to read an instruction book on how to play the harmonica.

Smooth working deal. DVD was in the mail right of way. Heard a friends version of this dvd and ordered it on the great teaching and techniques I heard.

Very helpful
As a beginner I wasn`t sure where to start on the harmonica, this video helped a lot! Right away I was able to bend notes and do a few other things. John Sebastian is very clear.

You can probably do better ...
As a beginner, I did not find this DVD very useful. I played it once, and had no desire to go back and watch it again. It was not very engaging, and the teaching style was meh. Maybe it was OK for others, but for me ... meh. This DVD could be improved by starting with instruction and basics, or perhaps better organization. It should start with an overview of what will be taught, then simple, straight-forward lessons ... and reinforcement. I would not buy another DVD from this instructor.

good styling info
I recently got this. I have a few instructional cds and dvds for harmonica. This one is very good showing phrasing and style with a few riffs. I enjoy it and re-watch different sections to learn more completely. I am glad I have it and would recommend it.
