Belly Ups! The Original Maternity Suspenders Black One Size

they are very useful.
I put off on buying these because i'm not pregnant and they were a little more pricey than suspenders, but i can't wear belts because i have hernias and not enough sick leave to have an operation to fix them and belts hurt my hernias. i tried suspenders because they were cheaper than these little things but suspenders were a bother when i had to use to restroom, it was just too time consuming when i have to go after holding it for three hours while working. these were nice and easy and get the job done and are fast and easy to unlatch. the only thing i have a problem with is the price. i don't understand how suspenders with three or four clasps and much longer elastics cost less than these little bitty ones. but all in all, they are very useful.

Too long but otherwise good
These would be good excerpt they are too long and therefore useless for me. I've considered having seamstress shorten them. Good for ladies whose pants regularly slide down.

Excellent product!
I'm only 10 years post-partum... lol, but even before pregnancy my pants would not stay up. These are a perfect solution. The metal clasps and adjuster take a bit of getting used to against your skin, but now I hardly notice them. I find it works best to put the clasp near the metal length adjuster on the bra and the other clasp on the pants - the other way around seems to rub against the skin more. Depending on the pair of pants sometimes one strap needs to go in the back and one around the front (the upper clasps I wear at the sides of the bra and then usually clasp the pant side towards the front, about at the front of the pocket line). After awhile you can undo and redo the clasps by touch and without needing to look in the mirror. So far I haven't had any issues with wear and tear or clasps popping open, etc. I'm not worried about having to constantly pull up my pants - wish I would have found these sooner!

Wish I knew about these sooner.
Work great. I have a hard time keeping pants b/c they have a tendency to ‘roll.’ These take care of that problem great! A friend who was pregnant recommended them. I had never heard of anything like them before. So if you have the same problem I have, I would recommend these. My only complaint is that after having them a while, they have a hard time grabbing on to thinner fabrics since I have been using them mostly with my heavier jeans. I guess the ‘springs’ get bent. Would recommend having a pair for heavier weight fabrics and another for thinner fabrics.

Not Adjustable, Too Long
These are too long for me. Since they can't be adjusted, they do nothing to keep my pants from slipping. I will have to see if somebody with a sewing machine can shorten them.Edit: I was able to cut and re-sew these to make them shorter. They worked for a week or so, then one of the clips came apart. I had to use pliers to help re-assemble it and tighten all the clips so they will stay put.At this point, if you have access to the tools and a craft shop, I'd recommend that you just make your own.

Great while they lasted, failed with 5 uses
They work as advertised for a while but failed very quickly. The stitching snapped on one of them within 5 or 6 times of use. The other was about to snap. Not worth the money for the short life time and I am not going to spend $13 every other week to keep replacing them.

Not just for holding up your pants!
I have a bi-lateral nephrostomy and have found these to be ideal in holding up my drainage bags at night or anytime I don’t want to be wearing my nephrostomy pocket pants or have my bags strapped to my legs.I tried these to give myself some flexibility in a rather limited situation. They can be clipped to any article of clothing that will provide the support needed. They are quite strong and will adjust in length. They also do not damage clothing like pins will. I’m very pleased with this unorthodox use and have been using them for over 2 years now with no issues. I gave a pair to a friend who recently had to have nephrostomy bags and she really likes them as well. Her visiting nurse saw them and said she will share this product with other patients in the same situation saying they would be very helpful! We need all the tricks to make life easier!!

Not strong enough
Good idea and it works, but after 2 days of using it, the elastic bust out of the fabric. I'm petite medium.
