I love this range of brushes and this set has a good range of sizes, although I would have preferred a flat to an oval as it's easier to paint into corners. I use them in all my art classes and recommend them to my students. They hold water and have just the right amount of springiness and have held their shape beautifully over time. For my own use, in the past I've always used top brands and sable or sable mixes and there is almost no difference at all.

I use these brushes for watercolour, and they work really well. Only small downside was the paint started cracking on one of the round brushes after two uses (2 A3 portraits), but this doesn’t affect the usage.

As a "just getting started" painter I have been using cheap brushes so treated myself to these. Can see the difference in how the water/paint moves in/on the brushes Very happy
