Sort of charges but certainly not a rapid charger
This device sort of works but is in no way a "rapid charger." I do admit that I got a great online deal through Amazon, so it wasn't the price that is getting me down. Today, after having my Android phone plugged in for an hour (battery was at 42% when first plugged in -- an hour later it's at 39%), and no charging whatsoever, I had to write a review. It's possible I got a bad device. Sometimes it charges, sometimes it doesn't. There are 5 ports and I can't figure out which one(s) works better. I've plugged in up to 5 devices and it still doesn't seem to charge "rapidly" at all. Also, the little plastic piece that covers/surrounds the ports has come off several times. Customer service seemed eager to help out with initial issues but I have come to the conclusion that I must have received a lemon. Yes, I'm using the correct chargers that came with the devices, and I have even tried plugging items into the unit before plugging the unit into the wall with no change in charging output. Just no idea why it isn't working consistently.

Amazing customer service!
I received the USB charger promptly and everything was as advertised. When I received the unit, I had a question which I sent them via email concerning the operation. They responded immediately. I began charging 3 different items and It worked as I expected. However, after a couple of days I noticed a problem when I plugged it in. A small spark showed as the plug was inserted into the outlet. I emailed the company and within 5 hours, I received a return email with their apologies. Without question they acknowledged that a faulty unit might have slipped through and they were expediting another unit to me. No without further questions. First of all, I like this unit and it was simply a unit that wasn't working correctly. There are too many positive comments to say otherwise. I will be using it as it will work great for us when we travel. It is exactly what I was looking for. But mainly I was extremely impressed with their overall customer service and responsiveness. It isn't often I see this type of customer service. Not only is the unit well built and looks good but the company is beyond amazing. I am certain the new unit will work without fault. You can't go wrong ordering this device.

Disappointed it didn't work
Reading the description and reviews, I thought this was the perfect device for me. Unfortunately it did not perform as described and I am returning to Amazon. I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 and S6. The S5 charged completed in a normal amount of time. The S6 charged to about 85% and then like the instructions noted, you have to unplug and re-plug it into the charger to get the remaining amount. That was ok as I typically just did that when I got up and it was fully changed in 30 minutes or less. However, I wanted it was to charge my smartphones and their Bluetooth earphones off of one charger. I have a Motorola H19txt and Plantronics PLT-M50. Both would not charge and in fact seemed to be drained of charge. I used some original detachable USB cables and then a Anker [6-Pack] Premium 1ft Micro USB Cables High Speed USB 2.0 that I purchased. I even tried two different ones from the set of 6 I got. No luck. So I don't know if this was defective, or there is a magic cable needed or these devices are just incompatible, but I will look for another alternative.

Well Organized Not All That Rapid
Company is seriously interested in how their product works so cudos to them. I purchased the charger for two reasons. The first was to reduce my need for an electrical strip. This product does that. The second reason I purchased this charger it was billed as a "rapid" charger. I suppose that means whatever anyone interprets it to mean but it did not meet my expectations since it was only moderately faster than the normal wall charger, I did notice slowing with the charging process the more devices I had plugged in to the device. This is just my experience.

This works very well and charges rapidly; my only frustration is that the AC charging cord plugs into the unit separately and it sometimes pulls out of the unit without my being aware of it. I wish it were permanently attached to the charger. This may have to do with the location of my unit on a table next to my reading chair, but often I mistakenly think my phone might be charging but the AC plug has pulled out. It seems to be a tight fit so it surprises me how often I find it unplugged.There are no charging lights on my unit as someone else described.

Excellent item and amazing customer service!
These are great units. I have two. With as many gadgets as we all seem to have these days, these charge yours and your friends gadgets while at home or traveling. 5 ports that any usb cord works on. It's a nice compact size with a long enough cord to make the hub easy to access while still stretching from weird to reach plugs. Good for hotels and bedside tables!But really, what puts these at the top of my recommend list is the customer service. They have a 100% satisfaction guarantee.My second one decided to stop working while I was on vacation, and when I just gave the company a heads up about what the issue I had was, they informed me of the satisfaction guarantee and sent me a new one straightaway. Well done Ezisoul.

this product seemed great out of the box
Sadly, this product seemed great out of the box. I was using it to power 2 Raspberry PIs and a Chromecast (2nd gen). At first, no issues, but after 2 weeks it started to make an incredibly annoying buzzing sound which was just at the edge of range of hearing. I assume it's due to a cheap transformer. I've got several similar devices and this is the only one which has this awful noise (2 others: One by Anker and one by Photive and neither of them have the same issue). I figure you've got a pretty good gamble on this as very few of the other reviewers noticed this same issue, I just so happened to get an unlucky straw.EDIT 2016-02-08: They sent me a new replacement unit and it seems to have fixed the issues. I just got unlucky with my first order. With the quick response by their customer service team (and I just left this review!) it seems that the product itself is fine now.
