I don’t usually write reviews but felt this product needed it! I’ve had a few Brazilian blow drys at the hairdressers but needed to find a cheaper alternative. Didn’t have much hope for this to be honest but I can honestly say it works so well and it may of even been better than the salon. It’s easy to do though it takes some time. I have very thick and frizzy 2b hair which usually leaves me looking like hagrid when I leave it to dry. This stuff means I can leave it to dry naturally and it is so soft and smooth. Dries quicker and feels so healthy. I applied the treatment about 3 months ago and it is still noticeably smoother! The only small downside is that it does leave your hair smelling a bit funky but only really when it gets wet. Once dried it’s not noticeable! 10/10 recommend!

This product is truly amazing ,I’m in my 60’s and I have very fine blonde hair due to bleaching and colouring over several year’s ,also I have a under active thyroid problem too which doesn’t help.In lockdown I sorted out some old family videos and my hair looked so different from the hair I have today , I still have my same hair style a short Bob but my hair used to move as I turned my head and it didn’t anymore UNTIL I had keratin research treatment on my hair my hair feels amazing and swishes lol . I have also been in contact with keratin research in Florida they have been so helpful answering any questions I put to them within hours they have a website so I do recommend you contact them directly if you have any questions you need answered. Hope this may help too I have been using plantur 39 and I must say I found it to do what it says on the tin, my hair loss in my comb was next to nothing whilst using it however since I’ve treated my hair with keratin I’ve used a sulphate free shampoo and conditioner as it advices , however my comb has again lots of hair fall in it . Problem solved as I have found a sulphate free caffeine shampoo with great reviews, it’s called Grow me shampoo by Waterman’s . I used Keratin research express treatment which I purchased on Amazon Uk be very careful of eBay as this product is selling on eBay with unbelievable postage charges, so please be very careful. keratin research say it has a good shelf life of up to 2 years after opening if stored correctly , a 120ml bottle will do 3 treatments on my short hair .

I will be completely transparent- the final results aren’t in but… I so did not enjoy the process (how dry and brittle my hair has felt throughout and the scent when dry) I would not buy again even if it works out. I’d go back to former purchases!I have performed all steps as prescribed (excluding using gloves). Unlike other kits this doesn’t have a strong scent as it is being applied and did not make my eyes water.The product scent appears to activate once one blow dries… In my opinion it is unpleasant. My hair feels extremely dry and frizzy through this step and is almost impossible to section and straighten… I dye my hair every 5 weeks or so (dark to cover greys) the dye has been stripped off (not unusual for a keratin treatment) but I’m left with the auburn/red undertones of it as my hair colour now- I had not experienced with other products. Will use a toning conditioner when I wash the product off and add a verdict re results for anyone who is outcome focused.Update… from 3 ⭐️ to 1… had left it at 3 as benefit of doubt pending final results post wash… straw like hair (outcome), straw like hair stripped of pigment (throughout the process). Not a single positive other than: “didn’t make my eyes water”. Yet… I much rather it had… best of luck with this product if you decide to give it a go! I’m back to my former purchase next time ‘round!

I tried this as they discontinued my usual brand. You have to leave in for 90 mins, the most difficult part was leaving product in while you blow dry as it is thick and oily. very strong smell when you use heat, my hair is white and it lightened to yellow but I washed with purple shampoo and returned to normal. It has straightened my hair but there are easier to use products.

This is the 4th time I’ve purchased this product and so I felt a review was justified. This product has honestly changed my life! A little dramatic I know but it really has in that it has saved me hundred of hours, this treatment takes about 3 hours to apply so yes it’s a slog but it really is worth it because once applied I do not heat treat my hair in any way shape or form for approximately 3 months. I just wash, air dry and go. Here are the before and after photos of my hair. As you can see following the treatment it is immaculately straight, this is before i wash it out (which will be tomorrow) so after tomorrow my hair will be less straight, and more defined curls with zero frizz which is exactly how I like it, I don’t dig the polka straight look but if I did, it would only take 10 minutes to achieve this look rather than 90 minutes which is how long it would normally take. If you’re looking for something which will make your curly hair more manageable and defined I would definitely give this a go. Warning! It does really quite sting your eyes so make sure you apply in a well ventilated room!***update! I have now added photos of what it looked like after I washed the treatment out 48 hours later and left it to air dry.. (see photos taken in room with green walls) you can see how the roots are a little wavy (probably as I couldn’t get so close with the straighteners) I should also add that I used straightener set to 230 degree.
