Smart IR Remote Control For Type-C To Samsung/HUAWEI/XIAOMI/MEIZU Control Air Conditioner/TV/DVD/STB (Silver Black)

So this is yet another IR blaster that connects to your phone. Unfortunately, they all use the same "ZaZa Remote" app. I found no other IR app that would see these devices and work properly. The ZaZa app is the worst I've used. I had 2 previous phones with IR blasters built-in, and have used Peel and Sure remote Apps. While they flood you with ads, or have hilariously expensive yearly subs, they just work great. This makes me try a remote (ALWAYS for the wrong device). Then tells me to make sure I'm pointing it at the device I want to turn on (no, really?). It literally took me over 5 minutes trying to get a SAMSUNG TV to work. Samsung. Not some dinky brand no one has ever heard of. In the end, I got one to work, only to find out it was missing the directional buttons on the remote. Trying to search for the make/model was useless, as it could never find any of the ones I tried.This would be so much better if these companies tried making their own Apps, and putting some competition out there. ZaZa remote app just needs an overhaul to make it less frustrating for the end user.

I went from a Galaxy S6 edge to an S10+ and lost the ir blaster. This works great with an old Philips tv and a Visio sound bar and an LG tv. Universal TV Remote-ZaZa Remote app works, but doesnt have a lot of features like Sure or Harmony.

It's good just lost it because it slipped out of its holder to easily it should have a little plastic case
